Chapter 16 Arthur return

Cyro pov:

After I heard the explanation me and Pyro went out side to talk about what we just heard.

"Ok from what he said this core is more mysteries then we thought. We need to inform the church of it." I need to make sure she doesn't get to near it.

"No, the church doesn't need to know about this. The King does, he will decide what to do with the information."

"Huh!!!!??????" What did I just heard, we just found out the core could be dangerous to everyone and he tells me he wants to inform the king why?

"Pyro you know the core is in the church at the center of the whole empire meaning if the core detonate the whole empire will be in danger and the king is....."

*Boom* Pyro summon a fire lance and launch towards me aiming at my throat but he stop before he slice my neck off. "Huh? What are you about to say about the king."

'Damn he summon a fire before I can react. I forgot he's one of the people who follows blindly the king.'

"It's not what I meant." He deactivate he's magic.

"Ok but don't let me hearing you say that after all your my comrade but that doesn't mean I won't kill you."

He walk of towards he's place I assume. then he turn his heard ."Also we do as I suggest no informing the church."

"Fine." Then just like that he left.

'Ugh he will make my life span shorter with how he approach a problem. I really need to cool off this is way above my pay grade literally. My pay isn't worth a the trouble.'

"I need to retire from this position. Working as a general for 6 year is tiring. And I sound like a 60 year but I'm just 30."

I still don't understand what the King how thinks after all those years. I hope he won't something reckless.

Arthur pov:

' After meeting with phoenix and dragon I can truly say I know true power. They were in a whole another level.'

A soldier walk up to me and ask " Sir what you see with those creature."

"What I saw was beings of pure power each capable of destroying the empire."

' Now that I think about it I wonder how would I last if I fight them one on one... Well no use thinking about since they won't attack us.'

While i was in my thought the soldier's face became pale. After the all one of the strongest person in the empire said that this beings can destroy the empire who won't be afraid.

"Sir then should we inform the King and request a army to kill them?"

'huh????' I turn around and look at him. I laugh "hahahaha soldier are you stupid?"

"Sir if what you said is true then we need to exterminate the threat."

"Soldier like me ask you. Could you kill me if we fought ?"

" No." "Then why the hell are you going to a being who can defeat me and not just one of them have this kind of strength no they all have that strength."

After I said that I can see him shake. I guess he's scared. Right before I was about to speak he said. "Then sir we need to have a good plan and we need to learn their weakness. "

*Sigh * "Soldier no we won't be fighting them they are not the threats even if they are a threat what can we do. They only need 3 dragon and 3 phoenix to truly whipped us out of the world and there's a lot more than 6 of them."

"return to your post soldier we will be arriving at a village so take this time to relax since we still are far from the empire."
