Chapter 13 The War continue

Cyro pov:

We have been prepared for a large attack since the meeting. Still can't believe what Pyro did.

We didn't talk after the whole incident, well it wasn't a incident it's just my plan gone wrong.

Well thinking about it at war won't help me so least think about it latter.

My and Pyro's army arrive at the kingdom of dwarves we had to attack city along the way but it was easier than expected. It must mean most civilian and soldier come to the kingdom and the stupid ones stay or most ran from battle who knows.The road from us to the kingdom was narrow and risky for large army so we mostly well suffer huge casualty

When we are in front of the gate I announce our arrive. "DWARVES WE HAVE ARRIVED!ALL OF YOUR CITY HAS FALLEN SO SURRENDER YOURSELF!"

Then Irol appears on the walls and said. "Good morning general Cyro."

"Good morning Councilman Irol ,how are you?" I reply

"I'm fine really,still a surprise you guys attack me and my colleague.But you and your army seems to be in a hurry. You guys attack the all the city in 4 days impressive. Even though from the city you guys was staying to here should take about 2 days and that's without fighting."it seems Irol was curious why we were in a rush.

"Well..." Cyro was about to reply but Pyro interrupted. "WHY THE HELL ARE YOU STILL TALKING CYRO JUST ATTACK."

"Fine geez, you need to relax."I was a little annoyed by Pyro but I look at irol and say."Well higher ups order.""ARMY ADVANCE!!"

The battle started. The dwarves use their weird range weapon to attack us. wait was effective toward low star soldier but to me and Pyro it's a toy a very nice toy.

After a couple minutes our army suffered some casualties and the dwarves did too from our mages and archer.But it seems the casualties was way smaller than I expected.

Pyro was about attack but I stopped him."Hey what are you doing we agree to save our mana for the stronger weapons?"

"Hmph what weapons huh?"Pyro snorted at my remarked."It's obvious that's their strongest weapon because if they have a stronger weapon they would have used it. And can't you see our soldier are dying.I thought your hate wars cuz of the death toll so why are you not trying to save them?"

"Well hothead yes I hate wars cuz the death toll but that doesn't mean I would just rush in without a plan that's just suicide and when I die all our army are in a worse disadvantage." Sometimes Pyro can be so smart that I forgot he's an idiot when it comes to huge battle.

'Ugh how the he'll did he become a general he's a battle genius but he's war intuition is so bad.'

Pyro heard what I said and was about to attack like what a idiot but then a huge cannon barrel a appear.

"Hey Pyro your right they a have another weapon but it's just a cannon come on even we got it." Pyro saying how wrong I was. But I was too worry with this bad feeling.

Then the Cannon start charging I sense the huge mana I quickly use my shield to cover Pyro and I. Then *BOOM* We were about to be hit and i know my shield will not hold up so I roll off the mountain to avoid the blast and lucky I did the blast torn straight through the the army and the mountain behind us.Pyro was unharmed but I wasn't that lucky one of my leg got hit and was vaporize. We hit the bottom.

Pyro was shocked at the power of that cannon. He saw my and use he's magic to stop the bleeding. Then I use my ice magic to make a fake leg but I needed to use magic shield to protect my flesh from getting frostbite. Then me and Pyro use our magic to go back to the battlefield.

When we arrive I was surprised that some of our soldier survive. The cannon seems to need time to cool off well all great power comes with a price I guess.

Me and Pyro didn't wait and attack. The dwarves was surprised to see us but they quickly attack. While we were attacking it seems the Cannon finish cooling down so it fire another shot me and Pyro barely dodge it.

But with the cool down time we quickly finish the remaining soldier.

After a hard fought battle we won.
