Chap 14 War

Cyro pov:

We won the battle but not the war.The weapon has been stop. The dwarves retreat I didn't notice where they gone to and Pyro was on guard duty while I was curious of how the Cannon can distribute that much power.

"Hey Pyro come here."I called him over because I found the something disturbing.

When he arrived he saw it."Hey it's this the same with the one at our home?" It seems he look shocked like I was.

"Yeah it is.It's the core that power our whole empire the sun." It just like the one at our empire. It big round bright core a immeasurable power source. We called the sun cuz it support our empire like the real one support plant life.

"But how did it get here. Did the empire fall and the dwarves stole it."Pyro was calm but with his question I can feel he's beginning to panic deep inside.

"No impossible the two of us can defeat their whole army here so even if they divided the army and the one here is weaker,they won't be able to defeat the empire cuz Thomas and Anemi is there and both of them combine is stronger than us not to mention the king." I'm sure they won't lose after all they are the best duo.

"Yeah it'd be impossible to defeat both only Arthur and king Luther have defeat them. And the king is a monster" Pyro grim expression was gone. And he has the right to be, the king is on another level, I still can't believe Arthur is almost as strong as king Luther.

"But that's not the point.How did they get their hands on this?"I'm mean this core has immeasurable.

"We will talk about later we need to let our army in." It's seems Pyro is getting ready for attack but can you really call this a army.

We lose so many people and my leg. Well my trusty leg is gone now, thank Phanes I remain calm or else it's will be my life that will get vaporize.

The Dwarves Chief Blacksmith pov:

'Damn it i need to get the core it's my prize possession.'

"Hey sir are you ok?" a worker ask because the chief was looking bad.

"I'M FINE!!" I shouted at him, 'the councilman can't find out about the core. No one but I knows about it.'

Irol pov:

After the walls was breach we escape to a bunker which was our last line of defense.

The bunker was huge all the citizens and soldier can fit in and still have extra space. But while we the councilman talk about our next action I notice the chief of blacksmith is getting impatient.

I thought it was his weapon getting stolen but when he show the weapon to me he specifies that his weapon has a fail safe where only he can turn on his weapon.

So I got curious I walk towards him.I ask why is he so till up he told me it was nothing but I can tell it's something serious.

I know the safety of our race is at risk but he didn't show any concern toward our race ever the only thing he really care was his workshop. I heard from my man he goes to the workshop very early and he stays there till midnight.

So maybe there something in the cannon that he doesn't want us to know.

"Sir we have confirm the humans is attacking again!!"Bad timing I was just about to ask the chief but this war was more important.

"Ok soldier let go."

Cyro pov:

We arrived at a normal size metal door. I really don't want to kill innocent people so I ask for a surrender.

"Hey Irol do you surrender?"

"No." Ok I get I mean won't surrender too.

"Come on Irol even if this metal door is strong it can't stand forever and we got general Pyro, his fire magic can cut though this door. So think carefully, do you want more people to die."

"You make a good point general Cyro. I need to discuss with my colleague."

"Ok."

After 50 minutes

Irol came back with a answer.

"We surrender."

"Good choice."

They open the door then we tie their hands.

I ask who was the chief blacksmith when I found who it was I ask him about the core.

"Hey you where did get this." I show him the Canon's core.
