Chapter 35: Dealing with a Threat

Getting on my jacket I made my way outside and made my way to the nearest exit. I noticed these three have been following me after a few days as I kept sensing the same presence tailing me for weeks.

I immediately knew their plan, they wanted to see the day I leave the city and ambushed me making it seem like I ran into a powerful martial beast.

Pretty predictable plan, though it's probably the best those guys can come up with.

As I got outside the city I made my way to the forest called sunny due forest. There's a couple herbs out here I want, plus I can get used to killing easier. The better I get at that the more I can put down the trash that exist I this world and I could use the combat experience that's something I'm currently lacking.

Stepping into a clearing the forest I stopped "You can come out now." I say as turned to the three nobody's, all three had smiles on their faces.

"Hmph! So you found us!" Said the one in the middle who looks to be the leader still with a smirk on his face. "If this brother may ask. How did you know?"

I placed my hand in my pocket "Simple I sensed your presence on the third after you left, then you kept tailing me for weeks. Killing in the city can give you jail time, however out here -" I took out a card and the sky suddenly turned purple.

"It's free game." I said calmly the one the left immediately rushed towards me with a sword in his hand a scowl adorning his face.

"What did you do stinky brat!" he shouted releasing his cultivation of the first of Martial Master. 'Martial Master? Hmph might be a good time to test the formations. Qi Augmentation won't be enough.'

I activated my sharingan and dodged his slash "Increase 10%." I said as formation circles appeared on my shoulders, chest, legs and arms each connected to each other by lines running across my clothes.

I then took out Waywind wolf, the sword that has Fenrir's mother's beast core. 'That's a pretty good sword it's probably about 4 star and that hair pin can probably sell for a good price, though I don't know why as a man he's wearing it.'

"Brother Si let's join brother Mao." said the other boss. "Yes brother!" the two then activated their cultivation their aura surrounding them as they took out their swords.

The three rushed me at the same time but I activated the runes on the sword and sliced through all their weapons disarming them.

All three of them looked to at me in shock "Our swords were three star, but he sliced through them like butter! Is it a 5 star sword maybe even seven star!" said the third scrub.

Wind then picked up around my sword as I ran toward said third scrub, and slashed at him he managed to dodged with only a cut on his arm.

"Arrgh!" he yelped in pain as blood rushed down from his arm. "Brother Si, stay back you are wounded." said the first one, the other one looked to be boiling in rage, so the third one has a short fuse.

I then smirk "You fatty!" I point to the third one with my sword. "If you kowtow and call me unlce I'll let you and your brothers live." I say with a cocky smile on my face.

His eyes immediately went red as he shot towards "Stinky brat I'll castrate you!" he shouted as he came in to punch me "Rock Smashing Bear Fist!"

What the hell is that name?! Anyway I chopped off his arm "AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!! M-my arm!" he then dropped to his knees as tears welled up in his eyes. "Brother Mao!" shouts the leader, he looks frustrated for a while as he bit his lips and clenched his fist.

He then picked up the other scrub "This isn't over the Jiao Sect will make you pay for this!" he then run off.

"Brother Lu wait!" shouted the third scrub as he sees his fellow sect mates abandon him. "Don't worry they'll be joining you soon." I say before I beheaded him, then stored his body inside my inventory, I'll need test subjects and hands on experience if I want to study the anatomy of humans in this world a book isn't enough.

"I guess I could do the same with those scrubs, plus I've been wanting to try a rune that's too risky on me." I flashed the blood of my dead opponent off my sword. I then calmly walked to where the other two ran, I don't need to rush, I can have all the time in the world.

- With Lu and Si -

'Damn Damn Damn! How can a brat at the peak of Martial Disciple be able to kill one of us?! Did we provoked a sleeping dragon?!' Lu thought as sweat trickled down his brow.

"Brother Lu why did we leave Mao!" shouted Si, he didn't want to abandon his brother. Lu looked at him.

"We didn't have a choice that brat was a monster plus he could defeat us with his sword easily, we should've just attacked him the moment he found us!"

He really regretted underestimating Ken Hai. However as they kept walking they crashed into something so hard, they two fell on their backs.

"What is this?!" says Lu as touched the barrier "A barrier? Wait that card!" he said in shock as his memories went back to the card Ken Hai took out.

*Shing!* A beam of light suddenly shot through his leg "AHHHGGG!" He fell to the ground and cried in pain "Brother Lu!" shouted Si, but his shadow sprang out at him and swallowed him he struggled to free himself but he was suffocating.

Lu looked on in terror as his brother was being slowly killed. "Brmder Hlp Mm!" (Brother Help me!) he mumbled as he tried to reach his hand out.

But Lu crawled away from his sect brother, Si looked at him as betrayal was clear in his eyes. Soon the light faded from his eyes and passed out soon he died slowly and painful.

Soon the sounds of foot steps could be heard, Lu immediately turned and to see Ken Hai not even looking at him but at his brother's dead body.

"Ken Hai then walked towards the dead body of Si, he went on a leg and checked his pulse. "Good he's dead and his body seems to be in good condition I can still use it for the experiments." said Ken Hai with no emotions in his eyes or tone he sounded cold.

Hearing this Lu quivered in fear as he sees his brother's body get swallowed by a blue portal. Ken Hai then stood up and looked towards him and he tried crawling away but Ken Hai stepped on his leg.

"Aaaaaggghh!" He yelped in pain as blood gushed out of his body. "Damn you! You are apart of a demonic sect! I'll report you to the- Agh!" he was interrupted as Ken Hai grounded his feet into his wound.

"Shut up. I have a question for you. Does anyone know the that you seeked revenge on me?"

"N-no our sect doesn't know they think we've been studying diligently!" he said as tears and snot streamed down his face.

"Good." Ken Hai then took off his top and begun writing a formation on his stomach.

"Alright finished, try using your qi." said Ken Hai, Lu looked surprised at this. 'This brat is acting all cocky! But this is a chance to attack!' he thought.

"Die!" he shouts as he tried punching Ken Hai with all of his might but when his fist reached Ken Hai's face said teen didn't budge.

"It seems it work the Cultivation seal that is." said Ken Hai as he got up.

"What did you do!" shouted the downed cultivator. "Simple I used a formation to seal your cultivation."

Lu was wide eyed at the prospect of formations being able to do this not even formation masters he heard from legends were this good.

He couldn't help but laugh "Hahahaha! So you were genius! To think I'd die this way!" he said as he couldn't help but laugh.

"Please before you kill me please tell me your name?"

"You want my name? Why should I tell my name to the dead? Something as trivial as a name is so unimportant when you are ceased to be and yet it's so important to those who face death." Ken Hai said coldly as he looked looked up and wondered to the bandits who asked the same question.

"It's as if it will make a difference in battle or act as some sort of closure before they experience their demise and yet is my name important to you, to the corpses called your brother?" Ken Hai took out Way Wind Wolf.

"Good bye and I hope in your next life is peaceful."

*Shing!* He beheaded his opponent.
