'Uhh what happened, is this heaven?'

I fell out of my cage on to the cold dirty floor. Finally out of that complete darkness I began to see my surroundings.

It was a dark sewer with walls stained with shit, a cesspool for disease, with a waterway in the middle that had brown water. There were rats scurrying around everywhere, water leaking from the roof.

I felt like throwing up just from the smell of decaying flesh, but I held it in.

'Wait, Why am I so close to the ground?'

I also realize I'm on all four's and my eyes are on different sides on my head.

I went to the water even though it was dirty, you could still see your reflection.

"WHAT!"

In the reflection there was a tiny hatchling saltwater crocodile that was about 30 cm long, with two little yellow eyes and brown scales.

'Am I dreaming, or did I get Reincarnated?'

I did little motions in the reflection to see if it was me like opening and closing my mouth. Raising my small little hands, it honestly looked cute.

I use to read novels when I was younger so this isn't the most surprising. But becoming a crocodile is a weird thing to reincarnate as.

Even when I tried to talk it just sounds like a hiss and a bellow.

'Alright, let's just try to get out of here first, then we can think about this later.'

So I started to explore the sewer, even though I was small the sewer was gigantic. I followed the flow of water to see where it goes. During the journey there were multiple rodents scurrying about. There was even a mama rodent who I saw was giving birth and it was not pretty.

After a while exploring I heard a sound behind me.

I turned around and there was a rat covered in scars and had a missing eye and patches of his fur we're chewed off, he looked hungry by the way he looked at me thinking Im food
