There was a crowd of people surrounding a enclosure. That had the shape of a pit. In it was a man with blond hair and brown eyes. Who looked like he could be in his mid 20s. His name is Rex a recently hired zookeeper who's touring a group of people . In front of him is a crocodile that was 17 feet long and had dark green scales.

"This guy right here is Brutus, He's our oldest crocodile that's 65 years old."

"It's feeding time for Brutus so I'm going to show you how we usually feed our crocs."

Rex had a dead chicken in his hand which got Brutus attention.

the crowd had their phones out taking pictures, in the crowd was a child smiling with eyes full of wonder. The child leaned on the fence wanting to see it closer.

*SNAP*

*SPLASH*

When he'd leaned on the fence one of the boards snapped and the child fell in the pond of the enclosure.

Brutus turned his head and saw the child and crawled towards the pond.

Rex stunned rushed around Brutus, since Rex is faster on land he got to the pond first.

When he saw the child he was covered in snot and tears running down his face, his face filled with fear, crying like there was no tomorrow.

Rex didn't hesitate he picked him up and threw him out of the pit, one of the people caught him, seemed it was the dad since he started crying too when the child got in his arms.

Rex sighed, 'thank god know one got hurt'.

"Hiss"

Rex turned his head and all he saw was teeth.
