I'm bored! Is what I thought after being trapped in this small burrow for two whole days. Our mother ate the berries and fed my sister and me with her milk. Although for some reason, I loved drinking milk by sucking her teats, even when I was full and nothing came out, I kept sucking until our mother pushed me away. Am I some kind of pervert?
Leaving that aside, something strange I found is that I was born as a Zorua instead of a Buneary, which only left me with two conclusions. The first is that the Lopunny taking care of me is my adoptive mother because I remember that Pokémon hatched from eggs will have the same species as the mother, except for Ditto, the second is that I am in a different Pokémon world than the games.
"Zorua and Buneary," my sister and I looked in the direction of our mother who just spoke to us.
"Follow me." When she said that, my sister and I looked at each other in confusion for a few seconds before we started hugging each other with joy.
Finally, we can leave this burrow and see the outside world!
We began to follow our mother with excitement, and when we finished coming out of the burrow, which was quite deep, we ended up in the middle of a forest.
"How fun!" said my sister with joy as she jumped from side to side all over the place. While I just focused on looking around because I could finally feel some freedom. Who would have thought that, despite enjoying spending time locked in my room before, I now love being in nature. Well, it's more because I don't have access to the internet or any other source of entertainment, other than trying to tickle my sister, take the same appearance as my sister and mother, sing songs with my sister, or play Tic-Tac-Toe with my sister or mother. The learning ability of Pokémons is very surprising.
Although we spent most of the time sleeping, I think if I continued with this situation, I felt like I was going to end up going crazy.
"Mom, what are we going to play?" asked my sister, who looked very excited.
But our mother just shook her head and said, "You are going to learn to survive" before she started walking towards a tree with berries.
"Pick the berries." She pointed to a tree with berries of a dark blue color, and I could recognize them as Oran Berries. The tree was quite tall for us, but not as tall as the other normal trees that were scattered throughout the forest.
"Sounds fun!" was what my sister said before starting to jump and try to pick at least one berry, but no matter how hard she tried, she could never reach the berries.
I just watched her, it's nice to watch children giving their best. But after a while, it seemed like she had gotten tired of so many futile attempts. Suddenly, we could hear the mocking laughter of two Pidgeys watching us from a nearby tree.
Actually, the only way I knew it was mockery was by their sounds, for some reason, I don't understand the words of these Pidgeys.
She seemed quite angry about it, and in a fit of anger, she hit the tree with the ear that was always raised and gave a blow to the trunk of the berry tree.
When the tree received the blow, one of the berries fell from the tree, and suddenly, her angry expression turned into one of joy.
"Brother, Mom, I did it!" Mom approached, giving her a hug while congratulating her. "Well done, my girl," when she finished hugging her.
The Pidgeys that were laughing flew away as if there was nothing entertaining left in this place.
"It's your turn," said our mother, looking at me.
"Okay," I said before my body started shining for a moment, and my body changed into the appearance of one of the Pidgeys. I started moving my wings, and although it was initially quite uncomfortable to move them because it was a new sensation with a different body, after practicing flying for about a minute, I flew to the tree and started cutting the part holding the berries using my beak, making them fall to the ground.
Our mother congratulated me with a hug, just like my sister.
After this, we took a walk through the forest, following her after I returned to my original form.
We walked for several minutes until we encountered a family of Rattatas with a total of five Rattatas and two Raticates.
"Wait here," was what our mother said before approaching the Rattata family and starting to talk to the two Raticates. Since they were quite far away, I couldn't hear them, but my sister could thanks to her huge ears, so I asked her what they were talking about.
"Mom mentioned that she wants us to fight the younger Rattatas." Hearing that, I got a little excited. I will experience what a Pokémon battle is like. I still don't know if I can use a move other than <Attract > and <Scratch >. By the way, I discovered the last move when I wanted to play Tic-Tac-Toe when I was in the burrow.
Suddenly, the two Raticates grabbed two Rattatas by the neck using their mouths before throwing them many meters away from us. They seemed confused because they had just thrown them without any reason.
"Hello," I tried to greet the two Rattatas, but they just growled at me and didn't seem to understand, and I didn't understand them either.
Our mother approached us and said, "From now on, you will face them every day."
"Why did we or they do something wrong?" asked my sister, as she never imagined we would fight other Pokémon.
"They must do it if you want to learn to survive without my help." When my sister heard her say that, her cute smile disappeared, and tears began to well up in her eyes before she started crying and asking, "Are you going to... Sniff... abandon us?"
"I don't want to, but it's necessary for us to separate for a while so you can learn to be independent. But there is still time before I leave you alone. So don't worry, I won't leave you alone for a while," she said while stroking my sister's head using her huge ears.
When my sister finished crying, she wiped the tears from her eyes and stood by my side to face the Rattatas with me.
We began to prepare for our first battle when suddenly we heard a loud cry or scream from one of the two Raticates: "Attack!" And suddenly, the two Rattatas that were growling at us charged towards us using their bodies.
I jumped to the side, dodging their attack, and worried about my sister, who was going to be attacked by the other Rattata. But what I saw surprised me, instead of trying to dodge, she used her ear to attack the Rattata coming towards her. As a result of their collision, both ended up retreating a few meters.
I didn't have time to worry about her and focused on the Rattata that had attacked me.
It ran towards me again, and before it could reach me, I jumped and avoided its attack. When my feet touched the ground, I turned around and used <Scratch >, and one of my legs glowed faintly as it struck the Rattata.
Upon hitting it, it was pushed several meters forward. I tried to use <Attract >, but it had no effect, and the Rattata let out a loud scream before turning around, looking in my direction with great anger, and started running towards me at high speed, leaving a silhouette behind it, and suddenly, it appeared in front of me before I could react.
When he hit me, I felt quite a bit of pain before being pushed backward, but I endured it before going towards the Rattata and using <Scratch > <Scratch > again and again, not giving it a chance to get up. But I noticed something strange, despite attacking it with all my strength, I only received some scratches. After my third <Scratch >, the Rattata fainted, and my mother appeared out of nowhere and stopped my next <Scratch >.
I stopped, and I saw that the Rattata was injured, but not too much. I watched how my sister's battle was going just to see that she finished the battle with the Rattata.
One thing I noticed is that the Rattata my sister faced also fainted and only had minor injuries like some small bruises.
