Rich and powerful people like Lucas could awaken privately as awakening is a simple process for them as it only requires a huge sum of money. However, the ordinary people usually awaken by signing a contract with the world association and basically have to sell their future to the association. 

The conditions for awakening is a mana gem as well as plenty of mana supply. Mana gem is a unique kind of mana stone which could only be obtained from killing monsters above C rank and the chances of getting a mana gem dropping a monster is really small, thus making it so expensive. The association usually share a single mana gem for thousands of civillians to awaken at the same time. While people like Lucas usually use a single mana gem for oneself. 

In his previous life, Lucas received a S-rank mana gem from the Sylvester family for his awakening.

While Lucas was pondering his own awakening, his personal maid Ruby knocked on the door "Young master, the master and madam summon you for dinner"

Hearing those words, Lucas awoke from his bed and immediately rush to the dining table, and as soon as his eyes saw his parents sitting, tears immediately flowed down his cheeks

"Mom...Dad..." Lucas muttered as his body trembled and shook involuntary showing his pent uo emotions

Seeing Lucas break down in tears his mother Grace Sylvester immediately rushed towards him "Whats wrong honey?" 

"Is there something wrong with you Lucas?" His father Daniel Adams asked worriedly as Lucas was always a cheerful and happy child and he is not the kind to cry like this unless something happens

"Nothings wrong... gasps.. mom dad... I am just happy to see you guys again" Lucas muttered those words as he hugged his mother tightly

Grace and Daniel then looked at each other trying to find the reason behind the meltdown of their only son.

"Tell me Lucas, you are not the kind to cry like this.. is there anything bothering you?" Daniel spoke with frosty tone as a powerful pressure descent the dining room

"Are you insane Daniel?" Grace scolded her husband as the pressure he emitted was not something that an unwakaned like Lucas could handle

Realising his own mistake, Daniel immediately withdrew the pressure he emitted

"Its okay mom... dad.. everything is just fine..." Lucas muttered those words as he released his mom and sat down in the dining table

The Sylvester family sat on a dining table that is quite large for the three of them as it could easily fits more than a dozen of people. This is something that is quite common for elite families like the Sylvester as they usually welcome a lot of guests.

The atmosphere around the dining table was quite awkward due to Lucas's meltdown earlier when Lucas broke the silence

"Mom.. Dad, I want to try awakening" as he spoke quitely

Hearing those words, both Daniel and Grace dropped their forks as they stared at Lucas with a shocked expression.

"You... you want to try awakening? Did something happened Lucas? Tell me did somebody do something to you?" his mother Grace spoke coldly as her only son who did not want to awaken despite her and her husband persuasion many times is thinking to awaken by himself all of a sudden

Despite being loving parents Daniel and Grace have tried asking Lucas to awaken many times before as they did not want him to lack behind the other elite families children and they know that the pressure will be high for Lucas. However, they never force Lucas for awakening as they did not want to make Lucas do anything he did not want to.

"No mom, nothing like that. I just don't want to lack behind others to much as the academy will soon start right?" Lucas said with a huge smile covering his face

Although she did not truly believe Lucas's words, Grace looked at her husband and seeing him nod his head, she spoke "Well, if that is your wish, I will tell Alfred to arrange everything for your awakening"

Time passed quickly, Lucas and his parents finished their dinner and return to their own respective rooms.

As mentioned before, Lucas belongs to the Sylvester family. Both his parents are strong individuals that are respected in the whole world. Although his father is from the Adams family which is also a powerful Ruling family. Lucas was given the Sylvester family name as he is the only male descendant of the current generation of the Sylvesters.

 Lucas then layed down on his bed as he recalled those memories from his previous life and he clenched his fist 

"Mom.. Dad.. everyone.. this time around will be different" Lucas muttered 

Lucas ingrained the crucial things from his memories thinking the best way for him to regain his strenght the fastest 

As he was laying down thinking of his future plans, the system called out to him

'WHAT!' Shocked, Lucas jaw dropped hearing the words from the system.

As it is mentioned Lucas previously awakened the SS rank trait - Blessed by Mana, something that is extremely rare even for someone from the Sylvester family. Hearing that he would awaken something stronger was a surprise for Lucas.

'Accept quest' Lucas thought

Third Person POV:

After dinner ended, Lucas's parents questioned his personal maid Ruby and questioned her whether there is anything that is wrong with Lucas recently, and seeing that Ruby also did not mention anything special, they dismissed her.

"Hmm... what could be wrong with Lucas?" Grace Sylvester asked

"Maybe just like he said, he got pressured by the other kids around his age?? Those kids often appeared on tvs and news right?" Daniel Adams responded

"Well... you may be right, but that alone won't make him breakdown like that... maybe I should put more men around him and observe him more tightly" Grace Sylvester suggested

"Grace, don't be excessive.. being the son of the Adams and Sylvester family, do you think anyone will dare to do anything to him?" Daniel asked and continued

"What we need to do know is prepare the best materials for his awakening and just observe him for the time being"
