DELILAH'S POV

Staring blankly at the ceiling of my small prison cell, I can't help but think of my life choices and how I've brought this upon myself. I wasn't expecting my confrontation with Rachel to go this far; I was just meant to rile up her feathers, not get locked up in a prison cell. Oh, this is going to fuck up our plans badly; it'll set us back weeks, if not months.

The clanking of metal echoed as the guards unlocked my cell, pulling me out of my line of thought as I darted my eyes towards him, sterning his voice as he instructed.

"Luna Rachel has ordered your release! The Alpha and Luna are awaiting you in their study."

I plopped myself off from the wretched prison mattress, dusting the specs of dust off my body as I headed out of the prison cell, making my way to Devon's study, paying no heed to the guards that trailed after me. They have to protect their precious Luna, after all, scrawny little weakling.
