DEVON'S POV

"What the hell happened in here?" I mutter under my breath, a mix of shock and disbelief contorting my face as I step into my study. To my surprise, there was a disheveled room, and the whole place had been turned upside down completely, like someone had let a raccoon run wild in here. The furniture was disheveled, thrown at different corners of the room, important files littered about the floor like glitter, and my office desk, which was screwed down, somehow found its way towards the door. 

"What the fuck is going on?" I repeated, confusion skewed across my face, still stirring around the chaotic room, struggling to believe the blatant truth that stared me in the face. Where's Delilah? She was in here when I left the study; what the fuck did she do to my study room?" Realizing she wasn't in the study, I headed out to search for her.
