Chapter 1: Supplies

As Red looked around the dimly lit street of her small cottage town, she noticed a store that was still opened. Quickly, Red darted into the store and rushed to pack up some items. She went over to the counter and placed them down. "Where ya going today, Red?" The clerk said, scanning her items one by one. "I'm going to Granny's house, she's really sick, or at least that's what I've heard." Red replied. "Ah, but I thought you didnt like her? I thought you called her ,'a clumsy old fool', the last time you were in here?" The clerk eyed Red down suspiciously. "I'm only in it for the money. I get paid one-hundred dollars if I deliver her some food, although it takes two days of walking into the woods to get there." She explained, grabbing the already paid for-items and putting them into a basket that had a small, wooden handle. "Well, thanks for stopping by, and make sure to show her some respect from time to time, you never know when she'll be the next victim of the town slaughterer, "The Wolf"." "I'll try, and by the way, no killer with a right mind would ever take me on." Red confidently spouted as she then turned, and ran away back to her own house to sleep. "Kids these days." The clerk whispered as he turned around to check the ciggeretes on the shelf. Suddenly, standing behind him, was the town killer, The Wolf. The clerk stood there, watching as the killer swung his axe upwards, and down into the clerk's skull, splitting it in two as blood spew everywhere. The killer then took the axe again and pulled It out of the clerks head, making a cracking noise as he did so. The clerk fell to the floor and the killer slowly slipped away, unseen by anyone. Red was his next victim, and tomorrow, the killers plan would be set into motion.
