Reya Vs Jerall

Reya stared at Jerall with an irritated look and said, "Not leaving this room alive? Jerall you seem to of forgotten who I am. Among the resurrection gods, I'm known to be one of the most powerful mages!"

As Reya said this, the invisible hand that was holding her in its grasp suddenly disappeared. "I could have easily made that invisible hand go away earlier but decided against it because I wanted to see if you'd reveal anything to me while I was immobilized."

Jerall looked at Reya with a furious face and said, "Reya...I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING ME TO SHOW YOU WHAT TRUE DESPAIR LOOKS LIKE! [Dimensional Oddity!]"

"Wait, what?" Reya said as she was thrown into what seemed to be a completely new environment. Reya looked down and saw that she was standing on ice all the while a massive snowstorm was raging.

If Reya was not a god, she would have died as soon as she set foot on the ice. "[Hells Inferno!]" Reya said as all around her a fire that seemed to come from hell itself surrounded the icy area.

"If you think these conditions can stop me, then you truly think little of my power Jerall," Reya said as she continued to stand in the middle of the fire she had created with her magic.

"Of course not Reya, I've been secretly observing you for years now and I know much more about you than you do about yourself," Jerall said as his voice resounded like an echo throughout the icy area.

Reya, creeped out by this said, "Is that so? Well, then you must know that I can get rid of this field spell by casting a similar spell."

Reya then put both her hands up in the air and said, "[NetherWorld!]." Suddenly, the icy space around Reya and Jerall became that of a black world, almost too similar to that of Limbo.

"You…you sent us to limbo? You do realize we'll both be stuck here forever unless a top god notices!"Jerall said as he screamed at Reya who was now standing a few meters in front of him.

"Incorrect Jerall, if you knew anything about dark magic you'd know we're currently in a place made by me that is just similar in looks to that of limbo."

"Is that so? Well, it doesn't matter because no matter where I am I can still defeat you, my dear Reya." Jerall said as he then proceeded to cast another spell.

"[Illusions of the almighty time wizard!]" Jerall said as thousands of shadows that were similar to Jerall suddenly appeared. Reya looked at this and inwardly said, "So that's how it is, Jeralls an illusionist!"

Once all of the shadows were done appearing, Jerall said, "Like this spell Reya? Although these shadows are not as powerful as the original me, they still pack a punch greater than the most seasoned warrior."

"Now, without further ado, let's get the show started," Jerall said as he bowed at Reya and commanded for his shadows to attack her. The shadows all rushed at Reya with killing intent oozing out.

Reya, not wanting to get overwhelmed by numbers, cast another spell. "[Divine Retribution, The last punishment for heaven's sinners!]." Suddenly, pillars of light came out of nowhere and struck from all directions, instantly killing off any shadows that met its path.

"Like that one Jerall? It's especially effective against any "dark" type enemies, such as your shadows." Reya said as she looked around for any signs of Jerall.

"HAHA, you're right Reya! I especially like the fact that it uses up a lot of mana!" Suddenly, behind Reya Jerall appeared with some sort of dagger in hand.

Reya, knowing that this was going to happen, simply backed away before Jerall could hit her.

"What! That should of hit you, you're a mage, not a warrior!" Jerall screamed as he became more and more irritated by Reya's actions.

"Of course I'm not a warrior Jerall...but I can become one using the power of magic! When you were to busy paying attention to other things, I secretly cast enhancements on myself, one of which was a speed enhancement"

"Tch" Jerall said as he once again disappeared from Reya's view. "I thought you were an illusionist, not an assassin Jerall," Reya said as she found it quite weird as to how Jerall was using daggers and stealth techniques while also being able to cast a strong illusionist spell.

"Hah, I'm not an illusionist Reya. That field spell that I cast was not mine, I simply used a scroll spell." Jerall said as he once again tried to stab Reya from behind.

Reya dodged and said, "A scroll spell? For a scummy person, you sure do have a lot of connections Jerall."

"Of course, when scheming against the top gods, it's only natural to build up a lot of connections," Jerall said as he suddenly appeared from Reya's shadow and tried to attack her.

Reya anticipated this and cast another spell, "[Heavenly armor of the forgotten sage!]". All around Reya an armor seemingly made from light itself appeared. When Jerall tried stabbing the "light armor", his dagger was sent flying.

"Now I know all of your techniques Jerall! Just give up or face heavenly punishment by me!" Reya said as she once again got on guard for another of Jerall's attack

"You've figured me out? Hah, don't make me laugh Reya, I still have plenty of powerful spell scrolls to use against you. Not only that, but I'll even let you in on a little secret that'll make you despair further!"

"A secret? Even if it were true...It still wouldn't matter because you're going to lose!" Reya said as she began chanting another spell. "[Revealing light of the lost tribe!]." The once dark space now turned unbearably bright as Jerall was made visible to Reya once more.

"Aha! Found you!" Reya said as she charged towards Jerall. "[Darkness Eternal!]," Jerall said as the space around the both of them turned completely black. Everything was silent, Reya could hear nothing, she could also see nothing. The only reason she knew she was still alive was because she could still think.

"HAHA! I GOT YOU NOW REYA! THIS IS THE ULTIMATE SPELL ONLY USED BY THE MOST POWERFUL OF DARK MAGES! I WAS LUCKY TO GET THE SPELL SCROLL FOR IT IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF." Jerall said as his voice seemed to invade Reya's mind.

"You must be thinking to yourself, What did he do to me right about now. Well, it's quite simple Reya. All I did was entrap you in the worst prison possible. In this "prison" all your 5 senses become useless. You can't see or hear anything unless I say you can."

Reya ignored Jerall's remarks and simply focused on getting out of here. As far as she knew, she could still think and casts spells she just couldn't see herself or hear herself do it.

"So, Reya you feel like giving up now? If you give up right now I'll promise to make end your life painlessly. Think of it as mercy for being the love of my life." Jerall said as he continued talking with Reya with some sort of telepathy.

Reya didn't say anything and simply continued to focus on casting a spell to negate this prison.

"No answer huh? Well, that's to be expected I did take away the ability for you to hear yourself after all, hahaha."

Jerall continued to laugh but then stopped laughing after he heard something he didn't expect. From the confines of the eternal darkness, Reya could be heard chanting a spell. "[All things that belong to magic must eventually return! Magical beings magical relics all must be returned to their core! Magical Disruption!]

As soon as Reya said this, the dark limbo-like world that they were in was reverted to Jerall's room and the darkness eternal was also destroyed almost as if it had never been there in the first place.

"Wha...What?! Magical Disruption only works if you're more powerful than the magic! There's no way you're more powerful than the ultimate dark prison!"

Reya was bombarded with Jerall's words as soon as she regained her senses and instead of replying simply said, "[Eternal Prison!]." Soon after, Jerall was encased in a small cube just big enough for light movement.

"As I said before Jerall, you underestimate my strength. Now, where is that magical paper of yours?"

As soon as Reya said this, however, Jerall began laughing maniacally. "HaHaha. Reya, my dearest, I forgot to tell you one important thing about my room, something that you weren't even able to notice."

"Something I wasn't able to notice? I'm not sure what kind of trick you have up your sleeve Jerall but you're not getting out of that prison!"

"hahaha. Don't worry Reya I won't need to do anything at this point. Want to know why? Well, its because...VERGIL IS DEAD!" Jerall said with a scream that seemed to shake the room.

"Dead? What are you talking about?! How can he be dead when the orders on the magical paper were set to go off next week!" Reya said with a surprised and confused tone.

"Yes, but what if I told you that I installed a device that speeds up time in this room?"

Jeralls words seemed to hit hard as Reya could barely say her next words, "Sp..speed up...time?"

"Yes, YES THAT'S RIGHT REYA! ALTHOUGH OUR FIGHT WAS ONLY ABOUT 30 MINUTES, TO THE PEOPLE OUTSIDE THIS SPACE IT'S PROBABLY BEEN AROUND A COUPLE OF DAYS!" Jerall said as he continued laughing.

"No! You, you must be bluffing!" Without wasting any time, Reya went over to the magical paper and erased everything on it. Once everything was erased, she wrote down one simple message.

[SHUT DOWN VERGIL'S SYSTEM!]

Reya was thankful that the magical paper was connected to Vergil and that she didn't need to be overly specific with her target. This way she wasted less time because, from the looks of it, every second mattered.

"I just hope I wasn't too late."
