CHAPTER 85: Dying?
Junshi tried to remove the crown from the crystal box but it was firmly shut. He spilled some amount of his blood on the box. It shook violently but nothing happened
" Try," Junshi said moving back
" What's that? " Jia asked skeptically
" It belongs to a divine sea lord. It's been here for about 100 years. Most of us here have tried to open it except Amaterasu. It doesn't ever open. I just wanted to try " Junshi explained
" Ok then, " Jia said extending her fangs
She bit her finger and drew blood
She dripped a large amount of blood on the crystal box eventually dying the box a shade of red
The Crystal box absorbed the blood rapidly and started to shake
Jia tried to open it but she was unaware when a sucker latched itself unto her hand
It started to suck her blood rapidly like a leech
Junshi wondered what she was up to
Jia passed out soon after
" Pumpkin? What's wrong? Are you okay? " Junshi said in fear shaking her body
Junshi tried to pull her body away but it refused to budge
He then noticed the sucker firmly attached to her hand
Using only pure strength, he tried to crush the tentacle but it couldn't be crushed
He noticed the sucker was also trying to suck his blood so he crystallized his blood
The tentacle immediately threw him away
Jia looked as if she was sleeping soundly
" Cherry promises to come back and save you, " Junshi said stroking her hair
Then he darted out of the place like a mermaid
Junshi immediately went to grab the katanas
He turned invisible as he didn't want any unexpected events. He rushed back only to see Jia turn extremely pale
A strange blue pattern was starting to form on her skin
Junshi plunged the katana into the sucker which was still firmly attached to Jia's and had
The sucker moved and disengaged itself from Jia's hand. Junshi pulled her close to him.
He held her body with one hand and wielded the katana with the other hand
" This crown is a trap, " Junshi thought loudly
He slashed the crystal box into half. The water space began to shake violently. Junshi darted out at full speed carrying her
Rocks and debris covered the water region and it was buried forever
Junshi put her on his bed and sent his maids out. They stared at him uneasily but he didn't care
They pretended to go out but they lingered at the door to listen to their conversation
" Pumpkin, I'm sorry. I didn't know this would happen " Junshi said sadly
He stroked her hair affectionately
Junshi eventually passed out in exhaustion beside her
On the second day, the maids entered with ugly looks on their faces. They were surprised to find their master passed out
They returned with a bowl full of scented water and poured it down his throat
Junshi stirred and woke up shortly after
" Tasha, You and your friends can leave now " Junshi ordered
A dull light shone on their heads and they left
Junshi stared in Jia's direction sadly
" I wasn't supposed to take you out yet. But I guess I was too adventurous " Junshi said with a soft smile
Junshi took the bowl that contained scented water and poured it into Jia's mouth
It went down Jia's throat but she still didn't wake up
He used his energy to scan Jia's bloodline and discovered that she had different bloodlines
He discovered that her vampire bloodline was the predominant bloodline
" I'll get you something," Junshi said walking out the door
" Do not enter " Junshi warned as he wasn't sure he could trust them that much.
He disappeared and reappeared with a man that appeared to be asleep
He drained a little of his blood into a cup and disappeared
Junshi returned and entered his room
There was no sign of life in her yet. Junshi gave a pained sigh then he poured the blood little by little into Jia's throat.
Her face gained some color as she previously looked like a dead person
Jia awakened with bloodshot eyes
" Welcome back from the dead " Junshi said with a lighthearted smile
Jia stared at him coldly
"Blood" Jia said with a bloodthirsty look
Junshi nodded in understanding
He called in one of his maids
" Drink as much as you want " Junshi reassured
Jia extended her fangs and plunged them into the maid's neck
At this point, Jia couldn't even see clearly. All she saw was a potential food source standing in front of her
Jia drank enough blood until she sucked the maid dry. Shortly after this, Jia's eyes cleared and she got dizzy
Junshi hurried and caught her
" Cherry, What happened? I only remember trying to open the box and then I don't remember anything else " Jia asked in confusion
" Pumpkin, You passed out from blood loss and I got you some blood " Junshi explained taking a seat
Jia was red in the face
" The crown was a trap. I promise to stay with you for two weeks.I'm not leaving this place " Junshi explained
" Whatever. I want to sleep " Jia said
" Not allowed. You passed out for a few days and you want to sleep. This supreme will not allow it " Junshi said with a smile
Jia balled her hands into fists
" Already so violent aren't we? " Junshi asked with a smirk
Jia rested on Junshi's arm and closed her eyes
Some hours later, A strange noise woke her up
Junshi was in 'the act' with Supreme Xue and the two other maids
Jia's eyes widened
" Pumpkin is up. Do you care to join in? " Junshi asked stifling a moan
" No thank you,u," Jia said running away with a flushed face
" This guy is insane " Jia murmured
