CHAPTER 35: JIA'S GENEROSITY

A succubus, A half-man snake, A vampire, A demoness, A wolf, A spirit.

These were the six people who surrounded the big boss.

They sat on silver thrones with intricate designs.

Femzi bowed to the big boss.

"Who is she, why'd you bring her here?" The succubus asked with a charming smile.

"She's the one" Femzi replied, and they all nodded.

"Ok. So why is she here" The boss asked in a gruff voice.

" She's a pill master, boss," Femzi said.

They looked stunned for a while.

He signaled to Jia, and she displayed a string of golden pills.

"We got pill masters here too. Why exactly did you bring her here" The spirit asked.

"Say, have you ever seen these pills before," Femzi said with a grin.

"That's true, the aura seems different" The demoness chimed in

"Little girl, what are you planning to do?" Damon asked.

"Nothing" Jia replied.

The vampire had been watching her closely.

"You're not exactly human, are you?" The vampire finally spoke.

" Yes, I'm not fully human," Jia said calmly.

The vampire nodded.

"Girl, what pills are those," The boss asked.

Jia frowned

She looked him in the eye

"These are pills that can replenish spiritual energy during a battle," Jia explained

They all nodded

They saw that Jia had six pills with her

"Girl, if my guess is right, they will ask for your pills," Damon said.

"Mind if you give us your pills? We'll give you anything you want as a reward" The boss finally said.

"Anything?" Jia asked.

"Yes anything" The boss replied.

"Money. Lots and lots of it." Jia replied.

A glint appeared in the vampire's eyes.

"How much do you need?" The succubus asked

"About a million" Jia said with a shrug

The boss snapped his fingers

A servant boy appeared

It appeared as if they had spoken through telepathy

The boss threw a ring at her

"All the cash you wanted is there," The boss said

"Let's go" Femzi muttered

They entered the spatial door and reappeared in a familiar environment

The underworld

"Just who are those psychos?" Jia asked with a frown

"I can't tell you now, but I promise I'll tell you when I can," Femzi said with a sigh.

"Why? Is everything okay?" Jia asked confused.

"It's for you to be alive. I don't want your head to be used for target practice" Femzi said with a weak smile.

Jia shuddered at the statement. It gave her the chills.

Jia walked away wincing.

"Target practice. Your head would make a good one" Damon said with a grin.

"You need a body," Jia said with a smirk.

She hid her subordinates in her shadow and went outside.

The moon shone brightly illuminating the whole place.

The stars decorated the sky with a beautiful luster.

She took a seat and kept staring at the moon.

"I love this place," Damon said jumping out of Jia's body

He suddenly jumped back into her body

"Xi'er, come over here," Jia said sighting her sister from afar.

"Sister Xue!" Luo Yin exclaimed her face lighting up.

Luo Yin gave her a big hug and Jia winced.

"Sit," Jia said.

Luo Yin sat beside her and leaned on her shoulder.

Jia caressed her silky black hair.

"Xi 'er, How, what happened to you? How did you get here?" Jia asked.

Luo Yin sighed and closed her eyes.

"I don't remember anything about how I died. I just found myself here, in this body with my memories of earth still there but I don't seem to remember that part" Luo Yin said with uncertainty.

"How about you? How'd you get here?" Luo Yin asked softly.

"I don't know either" Jia replied with a frown

"Do you know anything about transmigration?" Jia asked Damon

"No. I know about reincarnation but not this" Damon replied.

"I guess we'll find out one day," Luo Yin said

Silence ensued between the two of them as they both stared at the moon for several minutes, different thoughts running through their minds.

"Tell me about your life, since you got here," Jia asked.

"I was reincarnated into the body of a general's only daughter, so everything has been going well. But he's dead now" Luo Yin replied.

"What about you," Luo Yin asked with curiosity.

"My life has been anything but good," Jia said with a sigh.

Jia threw her sister a space ring.

"Here, there's a million in there in case you ever need money," Jia said nonchalantly and walked away.

"Why'd you give her the money," Damon asked.

"I don't want it anymore," Jia said darkly.

"Smart" Damon praised with a grin.

Jia smiled.

"Damon, get out here. Let's play chess hm?" Jia said with a smile.

Damon shuddered but came out anyway.

Using her spiritual energy, she materialized a chess board and chess pieces.

"Start," Jia said to Damon.

[Ding! System update completed!] The system announced.

"Oh, what's new?" Jia asked with a dull expression.

" Checkmate," Damon said with a smirk.

Jia frowned.
