Chapter 38: Staring Each Other

Long Hui scanned the girl in front of him carefully. She said that her shot was a lucky shot. However, he believed that it was a lie. Totally a lie. Her posture when she aimed at that man was not simple. The way she pulled the trigger showed that she had many experiences in handling guns.

"Brother Hui. Brother Hui." Feng Yue waved her hand in front of Long Hui when she saw Long Hui dazed when looking at Yu Qi.

"What?" Long Hui did not startle.

"Why are you looking at Yu Qi like that?"

Long Hui coughed a little. "Nothing."

"Brother Hui is in the military. The youngest major in history." Feng Yue said with pride.

Compared to her paternal family, she was closer to her maternal family. So, she was really in a good relationship with Long Hui. Her personality was more like her maternal family. Straight and forward. It was because of the military influence taught by her mother.

"Military?" Yu Qi narrowed her eyes for a moment and back to normal. 'That's why he doubted my words about my random aim. He knew I was lying to Feng Yue. Just faking it. He can not bring out evidence.'

Long Hui saw the changes in Yu Qi's face. Long Hui was watching her since she began her action.

"Humph...You two are staring at each other. Are you having a contest here?" Feng Yue who has been ignored by the two people finally snapped.

Yu Qi quickly coaxes her friend. The situation in the bank was already in the control of the authority. People who have small injuries have been taken care of by the medics there.

"Miss, we want to say thank you. Because of your action, everyone was safe. Only Mr Han is injured." A group of people came and thanked Yu Qi.

"It was just a coincidence. That man was close to me. I did not tough much about that." Yu Qi humbly said.

Well, people tough differently. They knew what really happened. How she took action and treated their manager. This girl is a nice girl.

"We have to go now. Excuse us." She politely left the bank.

Long Hui quietly followed those girls. Yu Qi was still focused on her plan. She decided to buy that blood jade necklace.

"Yu Qi, where are we going? What's the thing that you want to buy?" Feng Yue just followed Yu Qi feeling curious about what she wanted to buy.

When they were window shopping just now, Yu Qi did not react much. What made Yu Qi decide to buy it?

The answer appeared when they stood up in front of the shop that the two of them visited right before they had lunch.
