New Class Ch.10

(Luke's POV)

Today was the day the academy would open back up. I was glad because after the attacks on the schools it has been tense.

The schools blame the True Hero Academy for the attack since the students that mostly died were from True Hero Academy. They say that we were the target since we were a golden generation.

It wasn't all bad because we learned a lot of stuff about monsters and even had real combat. I also was able to earn som System Points.

I also learn that lots of students die and that ranked classes will no longer be separated which I don't know if that good or not. But now I can meet the other 4 C rankers in the first year since the other 3 C ranked died in the attacked.

The classes for S rank classes will still be taught Luna Stellar and her assistant professor Awakener Bruce. This is amazing since the both are SS ranked and apparently married. I know this because it currently trending and all over the news.

Luke: Damn, that was their secret.

Then Luke was determined to finish the rest of the quest. Then while Luke headed to the academy he looked at the sky and it seem like it was going to be a rainy day.

(Luna POV)

Luna: Hey Bruce, am I the right person for this job?

Bruce: Of course, who would be better to teach a class about magical combat and stuff like that. The directors? No those guy are too old and bad at teaching. Have confidence in yourself because I do.

Luna: Haaa, Bruce I don't know how you do it. Having all this confidence and always finding a way to find a solution.

Bruce: It because I am just that guy. I alone am honored. The chosen one basically. A person who is free from almost anything.

Luna: Hahaha, really you must have a lot of confidence to say that. So what aren't you free from?

Bruce: Haha, yeah. Hmm, I would say I'm not free from death but most important from you.

Luna: Haa, is that supposed to be a compliment? Or are you just messing with me?

Bruce: Little bit of both. But are you ready for class? It bigger than before and they might be feeling a bit down since lots of their classmates died.

Luna: Yeah, I won't let them down again.

Bruce: You never let them down in the first place. But I'm glad that you feel better about it.

(Bruce POV)

So I'll be able to see the rest of the main cast today. Hmm it not under good circumstances but I'll group them together when we're in the train grounds.

*RRRIIINNNGGG*

With the sound of the bell me and Luna enter the classroom. We look at the class and did our roll call. Our class had a 60 student which was a shocker since we had a little over 150 students in the S ranked Classrooms.

Bruce: Alright, today we're taking it easy. Head to the training ground and do self study or duel your friends.

Then we headed to the training ground but I still had to group up the main cast which was easy to do since they are the 7 C ranks in our class.

Bruce: If your C rank, follow me, the rest of y'all scatter.

After a few minutes the C ranked student follow me to a corner of the training ground that wasn't being used. Then I look at them and analyze them.

Luke Falldax- The protagonist of the Novel "Strongest Spear System". He uses the Spear and can use light and holy magic. He is be known for his speed and precision. Also his light magic ability can boost his speed and holy magic can be used to heal himself.

Allen Whit- He is the protagonist rival. He uses all element magic(Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning) and can combine it to turn it to other elements. He is know for his diversity and magical knowledge. He can use all the elements together but cannot turn it into one.

Lisa Winter- She is the protagonist lover. She uses a sword and Ice magic. She is know for her adaptive nature and amazing sword skills and can use Ice magic in also all situations. The ice magic can freeze, slow down and create ice structures.

Noah Taylor - He is the villain of the novel. He uses short swords and daggers with shadow magic. He is know for being undetectable and fast with amazing blade skills. His shadow magic allows for his to manipulation of shadows and can heal using shadows. Son of a SS ranker.

Thomas Grayson- He is a friend of all the main Cast. He uses a great sword, battle axe, or club-like weapons with his immense strength and body with earth magic. He is known for his strength and toughness that makes him seem like he immune to physical attacks and magic with his earth magic make his strength and defensive abilities stronger.

His earth magic allows him to control the ground and make things from the earth.

Grace Green- She is a friend of all the main cast. She uses a single handed sword and shield with nature magic. She is known for balanced abilities of attack abilities, defensive abilities, and magical abilities. Her nature magic can create and any thing in nature that has biological properties as long as if it not living or has intelligent consciousness. She is a elf with a big background but is allowed in the human domain because of a treaty and is publicly known as Grace Green but not her true name.

Lily Harper- She is the villainess of the novel. She uses the bow combine with her holy and light magic. She is known for her accuracy and fast attacks. She covers her arrows with light magic to make them stronger and faster and has the ability to heal others.

I was impressed by most of them. Luke was still lacking foundation but he will get their over time. Noah seem a little arrogant but he the villain of the novel so he was made like that I guess or his parents just cuddle him to much. Lily also seem a little arrogant but that was probably because she was sheltered by her parents into thinking she was better than others. The rest were solid, so that lessen the work for me.

Bruce: Alright, most of y'all have impressed me but y'all still have room to grow. So lets start with some combat.

Then out of nowhere Luna appeared and looked at the situation.

Luna: So, what are you doing?

Bruce: Seeing if they are worth teaching.

Luna: But isn't your job basically teaching them?

Bruce: Noooo, my job is to help them understand.

Luna: Isn't that the same thing?

Bruce: Of course not, one uses physical action and the other is verbal.

Luna: Physical actions? Like beaten them up?

Bruce: Exactly!

Luna: There your students too you know that and on top of their class at that.

Bruce: Exactly, can't be letting people think that my class is slacking because they already the best.

Luna: Fine, I'll be supervising to make sure they don't get crippled.

Bruce: Alright. Come at me.

The students looked confused and just stood there until Bruce went up to them and swung his fist making a shock wave knocking all seven of the down to the floor.

Bruce: Snap out of it or I'll beat you until you fight back.

All seven of them suddenly shivered as they knew he wasn't lying.

(Luke POV)

Luke stood up and thought to himself that this was a perfect opportunity to complete his quest. So he got into his stance and activated his light magic and covered his spear and threw it at Bruce.

His skilled [Heart of Spear] always allowed his opponent to be able to get by his spear. He was already think about what to do with his system points but then he saw Bruce dodge it with ease.

He was shocked because this was his first time his skilled never worked. Then the spear landed on the ground and Bruce grabbed it.

Bruce: Are you an idiot, why would you throw your weapon away? Here catch.

Bruce then threw the spear at him and as it was about to hit him it stopped in mid air.

Luna: Really Bruce, if I didn't catch it he would have been in the infirmity all daylong.

Bruce: But he has to learn a lesson not to give the enemy your weapon.

Luna: No buts, I'll teach them since if you keep going I'm sacred that directors will be on our case if we injure students.

Bruce: Fine, but I didn't even get to see their skills yet.

Luna: Ok students, sorry about that idiot. Let's get some combat in.

Luke was thanking his luck that they switched out since Bruce would always dodge and most likely beat us to a pulp.

Now he can use his skill properly and finish at least 2 of the quest.

This time I came in close with Thomas, Grace, and Lisa. Then I got shocked again because everyone's attacks were missing including mine. This must mean that they have skills that cancel or prevent functions of other skills or it could be because of rank differences. The latter seem unlikely because I have hit others with higher rank than me with my skill before.

Then after a while of everyone using there magic and getting tired. We never landed a hit but I could tell that that Luna was impressed by us. Then I got a notification.

I looked at the quest and it seemed like I failed most of them. But I can't be mad sense it was impossible in the first place. At least I was able to impress one of them.
