Chapter Six: The Fate of Alex Blackwood

"I'm in trouble" was the only thing Alex could clearly think about. He has a stunning beauty wearing beautiful and revealing lingerie right in front of him, and there was absolutely nothing he could do about it. In his previous life, he would've jumped at the opportunity in front of him. With a stunning beauty in bed with him, who could blame him? But not; he's three years old, and it's his mother.

"Time for bed, sweetie." His mother said this while walking over to the bed to lay down.

Alex's brain was currently in a panic. He had no idea what to do. So he just laid down while turning his head away from his mother, thinking this was the only way he'd get any sleep. However, his mother had other plans.

Anna, when she lays down, proceeds to hold onto Alex and start cuddling him.

"Goodnight~," she says while lying down right next to him. He could feel her breath at the back of his neck.

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck, this is not good." Alex thought to himself. "Thank the goddess, little Alex hasn't matured yet, or this would be a DEFCON 1 situation. Why is she so seductive? WHY?!"

Alex tried to sleep, but he couldn't relax.

After a few hours of this, Alex's body couldn't take it anymore, and he finally fell asleep. However, his overwhelming night wasn't over.

After Alex was asleep, he felt like he had woken up; however, surrounding him was a very familiar room. In an endless white room, however, it seemed some things had changed. There were now two couches with what looked like a pool of water between them and a chair that looked like a white throne facing the opposite side of the couches.

"Wait...what am I doing back here?" Alex thought to himself.

He looked at his own body, and he appeared like he was in his previous life's adult form. He started to walk over to the couches, but there was still no sign of the goddess that was in this room before. Alex then looked at the throne. It was a throne that was as clear as crystal, similar to the chairs the goddess created the first time he and the goddess met. However, strangely, there were flowers inside the crystal. At the center of it was a white flower; to the left was a purple one; and to the right was a golden one. All Alex could think was that it was strange.

"Beautiful, aren't they?" a voice behind Alex said.

Alex turned around and saw a familiar beauty with long white hair and beautiful blue eyes walking up to him.

"They are, but that's not what's important at the moment; what am I doing back here?" Alex asked the goddess.

The goddess smiled and didn't say anything as she walked up to Alex and sat on the crystal throne.

"Sit down on one of the couches; I have a feeling we'll be having a longer conversation this time." The goddess said.

Alex followed her instructions and sat down on one of the couches. He saw the pool by his feet, and there were small fish swimming in it. He wanted to ask how she got fish in here, but he had more important questions.

"What am I doing back here?" Alex said to the goddess.

The Goddess smirked, "Ah, as inquisitive as ever, aren't you, Alex?" I did say I would see you again, didn't I, Alex?"

"You did, but you never said why I would be back." Alex answered.

"Maybe I just wanted to see your handsome face again. How about that, Alex?"

Alex looked at her like he was utterly unimpressed.

"Well, fine, I'll answer as many questions you have as I can, although maybe not all of them will be to your liking." The goddess said.

"Ok, first off, what is your name?"

The goddess was confused. "Didn't you hear my name last time you were here?"

"I may have, but it's been three years; a lot has happened." Alex said in response

"Yeah, a lot, you say; being with a hot MILF mommy must be so difficult for you." The goddess said teasingly, "But to answer your question, my name is Xymaris. It's a pleasure to be on a first-name basis with you, Alex."

"You seem different compared to three years ago, Xymaris." Alex said, making sure to use her name.

Xymaris smiled after hearing her name: "Well, I'm in a good mood; last time I was tired, it takes a lot of energy to prepare to reincarnate a soul."

"Back on that topic of reincarnation, last time I was here, you said I'd be reincarnated as a villain, but I've lived a happy life since I was reborn; I don't understand how I would become a villain." Alex told the goddess with a confused face.

"To answer your question, I will use a quote from your previous world: "All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy." Xymaris told Alex.

"But I'm not planning on bombing Gotham City anytime soon, so I have no clue what you're talking about!"

Xymaris' weird way of answering was starting to annoy Alex.

"Let me tell you why you were reincarnated, then the fate that was to become of Alex Blackwood before you were reborn." Xymaris said while starting a story.

"Every hundred years or so, a great evil rises in your new world, and every time a hero blessed by the gods and goddesses enters a conflict against this great evil, he gathers many allies and many powers to defeat it, and every time the hero wins."

Alex paused and asked, "Is this hero also reincarnated by chance?"

Xymaria laughed and said, "No, you are the only reincarnated soul to enter this world; the heroes of history were simply blessed, nothing more. Now getting back on track, after witnessing the hero win countless times over thousands of years, I, along with the eight other gods and goddesses, simply got bored. So my sisters and I created a plan not just to fix our boredom but to change a tragic fate entirely."

Warning: We're about to get into some really heavy stuff. If you're uncomfortable with things such as suicide, abuse, and the mention of anything unconsensual, you may skip the next paragraph. None of it actually happens; it's just basically a what-if scenario. I promise nothing this bad happens canonically. I tried not to get too detailed about the events.

"A plan?" Alex asked

"Yes, there is a plan to change the script. So once we knew the story of this century, we picked someone who suffered a tragic fate and replaced his soul with another's. You see, originally, Alex Blackwood would've been powerless in life. He would've had a loving mother and sister, but neither of them would be by his side for long. After his sister turns 16, Alex's father will marry her off to another noble family. This man would be stronger than her, and when she tried to refuse the marriage, she was beaten terribly. She would be forced to have an heir with him, and afterwards, he killed her. This broke Alex and his mother, but the story would only get more tragic. His father would then attack their house, and they would kidnap both Alex and his mother. Alex would be locked in a dungeon cell while his mother would be poisoned and eventually paralyzed, unable to fight back against the patriarch of the Blackwoods. You can imagine what may have happened to her. Alex's mother would be unable to take the constant abuse and would take her own life. Once Alex learned of this news, it completely broke him. He would become insane. After months of being tortured in a cell, he would escape and kill everyone in his sights. After massacring most of the servants in the mansion, he ran off into the woods. He would hunt down anyone who crossed his path. The locals named him "The Reaper," and after years passed and countless victims were killed by him, the hero would hunt him down and kill him, ending his tragic tale."

After Xymaris stopped telling the story, she looked clearly at Alex; his aura showed pure rage. The look on his face was pure darkness, while also showing tears coming down his face.

" This was the tragic fate of Alex Blackwood, a fate me and my sisters planned to change." Xymaris said, she felt pain looking at how hurt Alex was. His heart feeling a whirlwind of negative emotions.

"However, you can change everything, Alex."

Alex looked up at the goddess, tears still coming down his face. "How...do I save them? TELL ME!"

Alex was in a rage; his emotions were all over the place. The look on his face saddened Xymaris. She knew this story would hurt him but he had to know.

"Calm down, Alex; I'm here to help you stop what might happen. After all, it's one of the reasons we reincarnated you."
