Chapter Five: A Mother's Worry

* Meanwhile, at Alex's house

"WHERE IS HE?"

"WHERE COULD HE HAVE GONE?!"

Anna was currently freaking out. It all started when she went to Alex's room. She wanted to talk to her son since she didn't really have too many opportunities to do that today. She always values the time she spends with Alex, but when she knocked on his door with no answer, she got worried. She barged into Alex's room, and when she saw he wasn't there, that is how we got into this situation.

"Please calm down, my lady; Eve is out looking for him as we speak." Mary said this in an effort to calm Anna down.

"I swear if that bastard took him, I'll burn this entire estate down." Anna said this while pacing in the living room of the house.

"I doubt the lord would've taken him; Alex hasn't even awakened to his magic, and we both know that is the only reason the lord would ever take an interest in him." Mary spoke calmly to Anna.

" THEN WHERE CAN HE BE?!"

"Uhm, my lady, I may have an idea," Veronica had said while coming out of the kitchen.

"My Lady, if you would please follow me,"

Veronica and Anna both left the house, while Mary was left at the house to watch over Raven, who was currently asleep in her bedroom.

* About fifteen minutes later*

Anna and Veronica arrived at the waterfall, and they spotted a young boy asleep under a tree.

"I figured he'd be here; he was enamored with it before." Veronica said

"I wish he would've said something before he left." Anna said while kneeling down to Alex by the tree.

"Well, you know how the young master is." Veronica said with a slight smile on her face.

Anna started patting Alex on the shoulder. "Wake up, sweetie, it's time to go home."

Alex started to stir, and when he finally opened his eyes, his first sight was his mother; he could see her beautiful smile directed at him.

"Mom? What are you doing here?" Alex said while being barely awake.

"We were looking for you, silly; you had mommy worried, and although I get why you'd come here, there is something about this place that just feels soothing." Anna said, looking at the waterfall.

"Now let's go home; you have to be punished." Anna said this as she was looking at Alex with a look that made him feel uncomfortable.

"Punished?" Alex asked.

"Oh yes, you ran away without telling anybody, and you made mommy panic and search for you in the woods. You aren't getting away with that." Anna said while holding Alex's head.

"Uhm, mommy, I love you." Alex said in an attempt to get out of this.

"And I love you, but you're still going to be punished." Anna said as she began walking.

All Alex could think to himself was, "I fucked up."

"I'll pray for you, young master." Veronica said with a slight smile.

"You're not helping!" Alex said to himself while looking at Veronica. "All though, even her slightly smiling makes her even more beautiful than when she has that cold, stoic look.

The trio made their way back to the house: Alex, worried about what his punishment was going to be; Anna, smiling all the way back, which made Alex even more uncomfortable; and Veronica, who was behind them with her usual cold beauty look.

However, Alex's mind kept going back to the waterfall while walking to the house. There was something mysterious about the place, but he felt peaceful, and weirdly enough, it gave him a familiar feeling he couldn't quite place.

When the trio finally arrived at the house, they ran into Eve, who welcomed them back. After she failed to find Alex, she went back to the house, and Mary told her that they may know where he is. Eve wanted to go out to search for him, but Mary stopped her, saying that Anna and Veronica were already going there.

After the maids left Alex and his mother alone for his punishment, it made Alex even more worried. He was terrified of what could happen. Anna told Alex to follow her, and he did just that. They walked down the hallway to Anna's room. Anna turned around, faced Alex, and said

"Your punishment will be that you have to sleep with me tonight."

"Well, that's not much of a punishment; if anything, that sounds like a blessing." Alex thought to himself, relieved that the punishment would be relaxing.

Well, let's say for Alex here that blessings can sometimes become curses.

Alex accepted the punishment gladly and went into Anna's room. He thought this was about to be a nice, relaxing sleep in his mother's arms. He was wrong.

After about five minutes, his mother came out of the bathroom wearing black lace lingerie, which showed a lot of skin through a mostly see-through cloth.

Alex, while mesmerized by the beauty in front of him, could only think one thing.

"I'm in trouble."
