Chapter Fifty-Six: Letters To The Family: Eve

AN: Hey Everyone, now I didn't post a chapter yesterday but today I will be dropping two chapters to make up for it, one in the morning and the next later in the day. Thank you for your patience.

* On the Day Alex Left*

Eve walked to her room with Alex's letter in hand. She sat down on her bed and wiped away her tears with a tissue she had next to her bed.

"Why did he have to leave?" she thought to herself.

She had always seen Alex as a little brother and was upset that he had left the family; after all, he had always been with them since the day he was born.

Her hands holding the letter started to shake as she opened it.

"Dear Eve,

Hey Eve, by now I should be long gone on my trip. I won't give you too many details; after all, more than likely someone else will fill you in on the details, but I had to go.

Now I do have a request for you: I want you to train your mana manipulation. While you really only use it to heal and unlock mana, I just have a gut feeling there's more to it than just that. My mother should've noticed too, but maybe you just weren't ready just yet.

Train yourself and hone your talents; when you're ready, she will help you.

I also have another request. Take care of everyone. No doubt things will change the day after I leave. I have a feeling Raven will become more closed off. My mother, who knows how she will approach things now, Kaede may also revert back to her old self, and who knows what Claire will do. Just please take care of them to the best of your ability.

You have always been the kindest of us; even in the worst situations, you manage to have an infectious smile for those around you. Keep that smile, and promise me you won't change.

Eve smiled after reading the letter and placed it in her dresser drawer.

"I will, Alex. I promise you I will do everything I can to support them. Just please come back when you're ready."

The next morning, Anna filled everyone in as best she could without telling them what an origin is.

Lyanna, Amelie, and Eve were shocked to hear he had left them in order to train in a strange place.

Raven was still locked in her room, and Eve continued to train with her mana manipulation, which Anna took notice of.

Anna told Lyanna about what Eve was doing, and both of them agreed with each other that they would train her to manipulate mana to the highest degree they could.
