Death of the Hokage

Minato and Kushina were standing above their children and said their last words to them.

''Naruto, Kazuto... Dont be fussy eater... Eat a lot and grow up to be big boys.. take your bath every day.. go to bed early and sleep well...

make friends.. it does not matter how many... just make sure they are real friends...people you can trust... even a few is enough! And study your ninjutsu... I was never really good at it, maybe you will be'' said Kushina while tears started running down her and her husbands eyes.

In the mean time many people gathered around the couple and their newborns .. Most of the people were Anbu with the 3rd Hokage in tow.

Kushina kept going on with her words she wanted to tell her children:''Make sure to listen to your teachers at the academy … and remember the three vices of shinobi... don't borrow money if you can help it... save what you earn from missions... no drinking alcohol until you are 20, and don't overdo it or you both will ruin your bodies. And as for women, well I am a woman so I dont really know what to say.. well there are only men and women in this world and you both will eventually want to have a girlfriend someday.. just try not to pick a weird one and try to find someone like your mother..''

Not long after that she breathed her last breath and fell into an eternal slumber next to her two children.

Minato did not have many word left to say as he agreed with everything his wife said so the only thing left he did was looking into the direction of the 3rd hokage and said'' I am leaving my kids to you. I want them to be heroes of this village. Bye Hokage-sama , bye Naruto and Kazuto.. I love you''

As he said his parting word his body fell lifeless next to the one of his wife.

The 3rd Hokage and everyone nearby grew silent. They just lost the 4th Hokage , what are the going to do now? Who will lead them and defend them?

Before panic could come up Hiruzen Sarutobi took control of the situation and said to his fellow shinobi:''Everyone listen. The birth of Minatos twins and them being the new jinchuuriki will be kept as an S-Rank secret. Now lets bring the children back and bury Minato, Kushina and everyone else that died protecting our home.''

A couple of days later the whole village came to mourn for their lost loved ones. Many people either shinobi or not lost a family member in this charge of the masked man and the kyuubi.

Everyone was sad and depressed but they had to move on. The kyuubi destroyed a big part of Konoha which has to be rebuilt. Many therefor lost their home and did not know what to do.

The Hokage made sure to find a temporary stay for all villagers somewhere else in the village until their old home will be rebuilt.

In the mean time Kazuto and Naruto were kept at the Sarutobi compound for the first few days. The orphanage was also destroyed so there was no possibility for them to be brought there .

It took a few weeks for the orphanage to be rebuild and the two kids to be given to them . While all of this was happening Kazuto was having a rolercoaster of emotions.

He was awake during all of this and was very sad that he could not safe his mom and his dad . On the other hand he was happy to finally be born and being able to move again however he wished, well at least for what is possible with a new born body.
