Ryan and Aria released themselves from their embrace as they stood up from the couch. Samuel walked towards them with the small torch and the three of them stood frozen, looking at each other in an uncomfortable stare.

Aria's cheeks still glowed with a soft flush and her lips swollen from Ryan's passionate kiss. Ryan's jawline turned tensed as he squared his shoulder with his hair disheveled.

Samuel's expression shifted between annoyance to Ryan and curiosity at how the fuck the lights turn off.

The silence was heavy and before the tension could suffocate them, Aria broke the silence. "Let's go check what took out the lights," Her voice sliced through the tension.

Ryan nodded but Samuel snorted and his voice dripped with sarcasm. "Yeah, because we don't want to be stuck in the dark with your lovey-dovey vibes," Aria quickly shot him a warning glance, her eyes showing him how annoyed she is with his continuous attempt in making Ryan angry.
