Chapter 3 : Bloodline Limit

Takeshi walked toward the familiar home he remembered. Recently, he had discovered an incredible power—his mental detection skills. It seemed to be a highly advanced ability, allowing him to detect things in a 360-degree radius without any blind spots. However, Takeshi still needed to work on controlling the intensity of this power, as he had been discovered while using it.

Although the two Anbu operatives had not found him, Takeshi knew that not all ninja would be oblivious to his abilities. He understood the need to practice more in order to make his perfect soul detection silent and undetectable.

Finding a secluded corner, Takeshi decided to test his detection abilities further. He discovered that he could accurately detect people within a range of approximately 500 meters. This allowed him to observe their movements and sense the flow of chakra.

Takeshi conducted some tests on a few low-level genin and managed to go undetected.

He realized that his effective detection range could extend up to two kilometers, enabling him to sense the strength of ninja and recognize their appearances.

Moreover, Takeshi discovered that he could detect objects up to a maximum distance of about five kilometers. Although the detection at this range was not as detailed and could miss ordinary people or small animals, if they were concentrated in one direction, he could still effectively detect them. The advantage was that it remained inconspicuous.

Satisfied with his newfound skill, Takeshi contemplated the possibilities. He knew that if he could detect spirits with his spiritual power, there must be other soul skills he could utilize.

Just then, a thin boy approached him, offering congratulations on his first-place rank in the graduation assessment. This boy turned out to be Hiruko, the inventor of the Chimera Technique. Although they were not yet part of the same future school, they got along well.

However, Takeshi's happiness was short-lived as he remembered that he had been forcibly transported to this world and would likely never be able to return. Sharing the news of his parents' passing, he couldn't help but feel a deep sadness.

Hiruko comforted him and reminded him not to forget to come to the school for the assignment of a Jounin instructor. They discussed the upcoming class assignments and the Three Sages who were soon to be together.

As Takeshi watched Hiruko from a distance, he couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. He knew that Hiruko had a bright future. And secretly, Takeshi had already decided to follow in the footsteps of Orochimaru.

The mention of the Chimera Technique in the movie version piqued Takeshi's interest. He had heard that it could absorb the blood of others and unleash their true potential. It was even said that by collecting all five bloodline limits, one could achieve immortality. Takeshi was intrigued by this forbidden technique and the possibilities it held for him in the future.

Knowing that other characters from the theatrical (movie) version might also appear in this world, Takeshi realized the importance of registering for ninjutsu in advance and seizing opportunities to improve his strength. It was clear to him that effort alone was not enough in this world of bloodlines and talent.

Returning home, Takeshi sorted through his belongings. Orochimaru's father, a Chunin, had also practiced snake ninjutsu, and their family had several ninja snakes. Among them were ordinary snakes, as well as powerful ones and venomous species. They even kept enormous pythons in the Konoha Forest, summoned by ninja when needed.

With his knowledge and skills from his previous life as an otaku, Takeshi quickly gathered scrolls, tools, money, and living materials from his home. Before continuing his journey, he paid his respects to a photo of Orochimaru's parents.

Sitting down in a cross-legged position, Takeshi began contemplating his own body and the nature of the Naruto world. He understood that this world was one where bloodlines and talent played a crucial role. In the mid-stage, individuals like Nagato with the Rinnegan had the power to devastate entire villages single-handedly. In the later stage, conflicts primarily involved the Otsutsuki clan. Looking at the Hokage, only Hashirama possessed the strength of a Sixth Level combatant, thriving despite being a mortal.

Takeshi acknowledged the cruel nature of most hot-blooded comics, where leveling up and saving the world were common themes. He knew that effort alone would not suffice without innate talent. However, he held a deep admiration for Orochimaru, a character who had faced various challenges since losing his arms. Orochimaru's goal had never been to dominate the world like Uchiha Madara. Instead, he sought eternal life and the unraveling of the world's mysteries.

Takeshi believed that Orochimaru's character embodied true strength even without the influence of blood ties. He recognized Orochimaru's clear purpose, stable mindset, leadership qualities, and willingness to do whatever it took to achieve his goals. To Takeshi, Orochimaru was a genuine hero, despite the bad reputation and lack of understanding surrounding him.

Reflecting on his own cells, Takeshi realized that he possessed Orochimaru's bloodline. Even Sasuke, through the power of Orochimaru, could transform into a snake and grow wings on his back when the curse seal was activated.

These transformations indicated that Orochimaru's chakra played a significant role in these changes. Takeshi was intrigued by the concept of bloodline limits and realized that Orochimaru possessed his own unique bloodline limit. It was evident that this power was reflected in Orochimaru's bloodline.

With anticipation, Takeshi tightly clenched his fists and opened his palm, summoning a cluster of light blue chakra. Increasing the chakra output, he focused intently on the chakra cluster.

Orochimaru's chakra was known to have three attributes: water, earth, and wind. But Takeshi wondered about the snake aspect. To his surprise, as he contemplated the presence of snakes, he felt a faint power surge within his body, activating the chakra in his hand.

In astonishment, Takeshi watched as the chakra swiftly transformed into a black snake that coiled around his hand. This snake, completely under Orochimaru's control, was much stronger than ordinary ones. If Orochimaru had crossed over to this world, severing the snake's head would cause blood to splatter, but after five minutes, the snake's body would gradually dissipate, leaving no trace behind.

Takeshi's face grew clouded, and he delved into deep contemplation. Orochimaru's abilities were inherited from his father, who was only at the Chunin level. While his father could control snake-like attacks and gather intelligence, he did not possess the same abilities as Takeshi.

Considering the possibility of blood inheritance, Takeshi concluded that Orochimaru was undoubtedly an awakened individual. This made him reminiscent of Hashirama, the only known Wood Release awakened member of the Senju clan. However, Orochimaru's awakening abilities were much weaker than Hashirama's, who possessed an sage body from birth.

Nevertheless, Orochimaru's abilities could be transplanted, just like the experiments with Karin. This explained why Karin was so devoted to him, as she had dared to replace half of her body with Orochimaru's techniques.
