Relaxed!

Hanabi was walking to her house, but she couldn't go alone because she was being followed.

"Why are you following me in the first place?" The mission for today has already been finished."

Ryu smirked as they talked until they got to her house.

When Ryu was returning after leaving Hanabi at her house, he met Sasuke on his way back.

"I don't know what I did today could be called causing a problem, but I don't know about others."

Ryu spotted Sarada on her way home and called out to her.

"How was your day today, Sarada?"

"What are you doing together, brother and Papa?"

"We just happened to run into each other on our way back home."

Sasuke smiled lightly at both of them being friendly. That was something he wanted to happen.

Ryu noticed the Ramen shop and motioned for Sasuke to have some.

"Let's go have some Ramen. For some reason, I'm hungry."

Sasuke simply nodded and walked into the Ramen store. There were a lot of people there, but today was different.

Naruto and Boruto were having Ramen there when they walked in.

"Isn't that Boruto? He's on the same team as me. Our team was renamed Team 7" Sarada stated as she gazed at Boruto and Naruto.

Naruto recognized a familiar voice. He turned to see the entire Uchiha clan standing behind him.

"Oh! You've come to join us."

There were five people eating ramen together.

"Sarada and Ryu, how did your days go? It was your first day."

Sarada was overjoyed, as was Ryu, who remembered what had happened today.

"As a newbie, we were assigned a low-ranking task, but it was a valuable learning experience. Konohamaru-sensei was particularly nice and friendly."

"That's good, but what about Ryu?" Naruto smiled as he asked the question.

"Well, I faced Hanabi, I replicated Vaccum Palm and defeated her with it, and other details are private."

Boruto and Sarada were taken aback when Naruto got Ramen lodged in his throat.

Sasuke was different. He had a proud look on his face, but it was barely visible.

'Do some things never change?' Ryu pondered.

They started digging into the Ramen they had ordered.

Ryu is the usual Naruto special ramen. It is the most popular one anyway.

"Can you assign me a mission that requires me to visit the Land of Waves in the future, Naruto? I'd like to go there once. I haven't been there in a long time." Ryu avoided addressing Naruto as Hokage since it made him cringe.

"I'll do my best if I receive one in the future."

'I'll add a task, so it won't be a problem.'

"Sure, if you can get one."

As they began to eat, more individuals entered the Ramen store. Sai, Choji, and Shikamaru have just arrived. They wanted to commemorate their child's official turn into a genin.

"You, too, are present. I wasn't expecting to see that." Shikamaru sat next to Sasuke, and others joined them.

"Everyone is here with their kids. We used to get together for Ramen after missions."

"It seems like only yesterday..."

They began having chats with others in this manner, one after the other.

"The Chunin exams will be held soon. I'm looking forward to watching it."

"Chunin examinations! It's already close; it's unavoidable." Ryu muttered something to himself.

Ryu let them talk before teleporting to his bed. He fell asleep as soon as he lay down on the bed.

Ryu's sleep was not disturbed. He went to bed earlier than usual and awoke in the middle of the night.

"Huh! Is it already morning? I'm not seeing any light."

Ryu looked out the window and discovered that it was completely dark outside. It was close to midnight.

Ryu took the rooftop and gazed up at the black sky with glittering stars.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Ryu heard a voice from the rooftop.

Ryu turned around to see who it was. Sasuke was there. He was present the entire time.

Sasuke sat beside Ryu and gazed up at the sky.

"Do you like living here?" "You still haven't adjusted to the way of life here."

"I think I'm getting better at it every day. If I think about it, I've always been in circumstances where a single wrong move meant certain death."

"Why did you join such an organization in the first place? I don't see why you should join one."

"I joined to obtain power. I want to increase my power and I'm still unsatisfied."

This time, Ryu was totally serious. He did want to get stronger and stronger.

Sasuke understood him. He used to be exactly like him.

"Just consider it. You have all the power in the world, yet in the end, you will have nothing. In the end, it's all for naught."

"I can't argue with that, and I'm trying my hardest to get it right, but I just can't."

Sasuke stood on the roof and gazed out over the village.

"It's your life, and you get to choose. You should take your own path."

Ryu pondered it for a while before putting it aside.

'I'll consider it if I live long enough in the future.'

"I had something to tell you, Sasuke."

"What is it?" It's unusual for you to tell me something.

"They'll be here in the same month as the Chunin examinations, but I'm not sure when."

Ryu slept off on the rooftop while gazing at the stars.

"He slept out on the roof like that. So much for not staying out too long."

Sasuke carried Ryu to his bed on his back.

"That's got to be it."

Sasuke pulled a blanket across Ryu as it got cold at night.

'I should take a nap as well. I awoke believing it was a thief.'

Sasuke was about to leave Ryu's room when he became aware of a presence approaching Ryu.

'Who is it? and at this hour of the night.'

Two figures were about to jump inside the window and looked like they harbored ill intentions.

"Amaterasu!"

Amaterasu was launched at one of the figures, preventing both of them from entering.

Sasuke charged at the one who had evaded Amaterasu. He charged as quietly as possible so as not to wake Ryu.

The figure was kicked in the stomach, sending him falling a few paces back when something penetrated Sasuke from behind.

"What!"

Sasuke tossed the person who had penetrated him, but he was puzzled.

'I struck him, Amaterasu directly on the head. He should have died by now, yet the dark flames vanished.'

They both took off running at full speed. They traveled a considerable distance almost instantly.

This time, Sasuke did not dare to behave recklessly and went for a killing move.

"Chidori!"

Sasuke switched positions with one of them after chasing them some meters and launched Chidori at him.

"Rasengan!"

The surrounding area was completely damaged, with a big hole in the earth caused by the impact of the attack.
