127. Rakor The Defeated

Harbinger's Call and its players were not the most honorable, known for their fairness and kindness, but they were also not known for excess cruelty and rudeness.
Rakor was also not insidious or cruel, as a person and gamer, and he was not particularly honorable or fair. It was not surprising that he would not put himself in the vulnerable situation of a duel against someone who was undoubtedly better than him for honor.
Different people may have tried to lie and attempt to lull Paul into a sense of safety before having his men pile on him like a rugby team in a cross-town rivalry.
When Paul did not respond to his bold claim, he walked forward steadily.
"If you are not coming out, I am coming in!"
Paul and the others had no idea what kind of person Rakor was in daily life; their first meeting went in the direction of building hatred due to how it went.
