Reinhardt, in his past life, he was a student who was brutally murdered. However, he had been reborn as the Knight of The Villainess from a Novel he had once read. In his last life, he didn't accomplish anything, in fact, the most notable thing he had ever done was killing his murder. But now, he had another chance. And this time, he was going to survive no matter what. Armed with the Heart of a God and knowledge from the novel he had once read, he would make sure to survive, and trample over anyone who sought to take what was his. *** I dont own the cover art, just smt I found on Pinterest I think. Let me know if you're the owner and want it down. This is my second novel, so you can expect an above average quality of writing. There will be romance but it'll be gradual, and he won't be dense or anything since that would be annoying. The MC might be a tad bit insane at times, and he won't be OP immediately. But he won't be losing too often. Anyways, enjoy! And check out my other novel, The Child Soldier's Reincarnation if you like my style of writing. Upload schedule: As of now, daily but I'll take a one day break whenever I need it.

Chapter 56 - First Class [6]

Adrienne smiled, dodging each and every sword of blood that was fired off. Frankly, I wasn't shocked. Ranged combat wasn't my forte, but what really got my attention was that she was accelerating.

'She's increasing the difficulty to reflect that it's a 2 on 1.'

And so, she rushed towards Arthur, probably because she wasn't confident in taking me out fast enough.

'She wants us to experience a real 2 on 1? Fine.'

And so, I ran towards Arthur and shoved him out of the way. Adrienne may have been faster, but the distance between us was smaller so I was able to get in the way first.

And so, I took the punch that was supposed to hit Arthur. The punch made contact with my stomach, but using my 'Blood Armour' technique I weakened her blow, however there was still a lot of power behind her attack.

But, I wasn't so weak that something like this could slow me down, so without a second thought, I slammed my fist into her jaw. I felt my hand crack a little, her body was incredibly tough.

But what was more impressive was how she regulated her output of physical enhancement. She could limit her strength and speed to level the playing field whilst keeping her durability high so that she wouldn't get hurt by our attacks due to holding back too much.

But, even if my bones broke, I wouldn't run into any troubles, but my ability to regenerate wasn't limited to healing mere broken bones.

"Blast both of us to hell."

Arthur didn't hesitate, unleashing a blast of pure, uncontained flames at us. The flames burned away at me, whilst she was left unharmed due to her ability to protect her body with Mana. However, I regenerated amidst the inferno, ignoring the feeling of my skin being burned off.

"Not bad at all! I knew, this really is the best way to teach kids like you!"

Adrienne roared in excitement as she began to attack me, Arthur's flames subsided at the same time.

'He stopped attacking to make sure my vision wasn't obscured. Guess he's used to having allies, which is odd. He should've been kinda lonely in his first life, according to the novel.'

Adrienne began to cut my body at terrfying speeds, my Blood Armour couldn't really help much against attacks that weren't a blunt force.

But, I didn't bother dodging. It just wasn't my style of doing things. Even as the beastlady before me hacked away at my flesh, and even as the pain of regeneration took hold, I didn't so much as bat an eye. Taking a step forward, I landed an uppercut on her but she wad utterly unfazed.

My entire body began to creak as bones shattered and were immediately repaired. The pain was ridiculous, but I had long grown used to it.

As my body repaired itself, it became stronger, and Adrienne notices that and increased her output ever so slightly.

I was essentially the embodiment of 'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.' All that cutting me would do was give me more blood to use, and give me a power boost.

And so, all the blood that had splattered on the ground rushed towards her. The blood behind me pierced through my body and the small fragments of blood pummelled the woman's body as I regenerated any damage I caused myself. Adrienne deflected some of the fragments of blood with her sword, then she reeled her fist back and I prepared to block.

Then, her fist dissapeared, and so did the arms I had raised for block her blow. I also noticed that she was significantly farther away from me, my back was also against a crater in a wall.

'Ah. She put some strength into her attack.'

My arms had pretty much exploded once they made contact with her fist, and so, I was currently armless. I also felt that my chest had caved in on itself, her fist must've made the slightest contact with my chest.

Thankfully, my heart was pretty much fine but my lung had been pierced by one of my ribs.

'It's not as sore as regeneration, far from it.'

Adrienne looked horrified, not at my condition but at how quickly my body was repairing itself. My shattered bones joined together whilst any missing bone was recreated. The bone piercing my lung was moved to where it should've been and my lung was repaired in it's entirety.

Adrienne looked like she had just seen a ghost while was Arthur was also more than a bit shocked.

"Are you immortal, genuinely? I accidentally raised the power of my attack to too high a level, I was ready to take you to the Arcane Magic using Awakened but uh... you're fine? Well, let's call it a day. Also, sorry about obliterating your arms and about whatever the hell happened to your chest. I got too excited fighting two geniuses at once.."

'Immortal, huh?'
