An impossible feat

Muna was getting tired already.

They've been searching around for a while now and they were yet to achieve something. All the houses they went to were either not good, too costly, or too poorly decorated — None met her requirements.

"Muna, I think we should just go for one," Kloey said, tired from all the stress.

"No!" Muna replied. "We need to find a suitable place for our Master to live in," she said to Kloey.

"I didn't know you valued him this much," Kloey mumbled, and Muna scoffed without a word. Kloey giggled because she was right. Ever since Arsenal saved Muna from the armored figure's attack, her attitude toward him took a 360 turn, she became more obedient and attentive toward him.

"Hey, look at that one over there!" Muna said, calling her attention to a building ahead of them.

When they got near, they saw an elderly woman leaving the house.

"Hello, Mam," Muna greeted.

"How may I help you?" The old woman asked her.

"Is this house for sale? I want to buy it," Muna replied.

"It has already been bought," the old woman replied, and Muna's shoulders dropped because she had fallen in love with the house.

"Mam, is there nothing we can do about it? I have the money, I'll pay double the amount of money paid," she said to the woman who stared at her for a while before sighing.

"Child, I am only an old woman so there is no need for me to continue lying. This house honestly belongs to my son who died a few weeks ago. I should have sold it off but I am reluctant to do so because I fear that no one will be able to maintain the house," the old woman replied and Muna glanced at Kloey before facing the old woman again.

"Mam, that should not be your problem. Let us have the house and be rest assured that we will take care of it," she said to her.

The old woman was reluctant to agree but after a while, she sighed deeply.

"I will let you have the house," she finally agreed.

"Mam, here is the money. This is all I have with me," Muna said and gave the paper money to the old woman but she refused it.

"I don't need your money, keep it," she said and handed her a bunch of keys instead. "This is for the house, I am only a few steps away from my grave so I don't need your money. I will leave this house under your care and I hope you fulfill your promise." The old woman didn't stay long and went her way immediately after her words.

"We are lucky," Muna told Kloey who was equally happy.

"Yes, let us go and tell Master about it," she replied and the two of them hurried off to call Arsenal.

When they got to where they had left him, they were shocked to find him on the floor.

"Let's get some help and carry him home," Kloey suggested and Muna agreed and quickly went to call for help. With the help of the person, they carried Arsenal to the new house and laid him on the couch there. After the man who helped them had left, Muna and Kloey began to think of what to do.

"What should we do?" Kloey asked Muna.

"First off, he is exhausted so I think we should find a way and help him regain his strength," Muna replied. Unlike Kleoy who was panicking, Muna was calm and collected. "I am not that strong but I guess I can transfer some of my energy to him," she said.

"You will be affected by it," Kloey said with a worried look.

"Don't worry about me," Muna replied. "Just help me sit him up," she requested and Kloey reluctantly made Arsenal sit up. Muna then went to his back and sat down, she didn't waste any more time and began to transfer her energy to him.

Muna thought it was a mere transfer of energy to her master, though she knew it would take its toll on her, she never imagined it to be worse than she thought. She hadn't even gone far when she suddenly slumped.

"Muna!" Kloey cried out in fear. She was now the only one left out, she had no idea what to do and unlike her master and Muna who were meant to have a substantial amount of energy flowing in them, she had just little. Yeah, the Phantom Clan are only known for their proficiency in creating illusions; that is just all. They had little energy and a short lifespan.

Sad, she sat down about to cry but all of a sudden, Arsenal moved and opened his eyes.

"Why did you let her do it?" He asked her while staring at Muna.

"I tried to stop her but she insisted that she transferred her energy to you," Kloey replied and lowered her head.

"Never mind," he muttered and looked elsewhere. "She's usually stubborn," he added and sighed.

"Master, how do you feel? Did the energy help?" Kloey asked.

"I'm fine, just let her rest for some time. I'll be right back," he replied and stood up.

"Master, where are you going?" Kloey asked him.

"Just do what I asked you to," he replied and left the house afterward. With a sigh, Kloey adjusted Muna carefully and then sat down beside her.

Outside the house, Arsenal left that vicinity and went to a very lonely place. He sat down on the ground and crossed his legs. As soon as he closed his eyes, he coughed out a mouthful of blood and held his chest.

"I am from the demon Clan, it's impossible for the two energies to work together," he said in pain. "But what if... What if I do the impossible by controlling the divine energy and making it submissive to my dark energy? It has never been done but what if I succeed? Won't that make me even more powerful?"

A smirk formed at the corner of his lips as this wild thought crossed his mind. He wanted to try something that no one had ever done, and he was eager to do it, notwithstanding the cost.

He closed his eyes again and activated his mind eyes which would help him look into his spiritual world. His spiritual world was vast; as vast as the ocean and it was very peaceful, this surprised him. After taking a look around his spiritual world, he then saw the divine energy, a golden beam mixed with red glittering sparks moving around unsteadily. Soon after that, he saw his dark energy which was made of smoky dark elements rushing towards the divine energy and like that, the two energies collided, causing his spiritual world to tremble fiercely.
