An Abrupt end

By now, the Dean and the teachers had already gathered around, and in silence, they watched as the fight continued.

It intensified with the Davis family's lightning magic crackling through the air. Arsenal's movements became a blur as he dodged and countered, his fists flying in a whirlwind of punches and kicks. The family's powers combined in a devastating display, but Arsenal refused to back down. Not when his glory was at stake.

Mrs. Davis unleashed a wave of sparks, which Arsenal barely deflected with a swift kick. The sparks ricocheted off the ground, striking the nearby buildings and sending debris crashing down. The two men flanking her launched a barrage of lightning bolts, which Arsenal dodged with incredible agility.

As the battle raged on, the school's grounds began to resemble a war zone. Craters pockmarked the earth, and the air reeked of ozone and smoke. Arsenal's determination never wavered, his eyes fixed on the Davis family with an unyielding intensity.

In a sudden burst of strength, Arsenal delivered a crushing blow to Mr. Davis's chest, sending him stumbling back. The family's lightning attacks faltered momentarily, allowing Arsenal to land a series of rapid-fire punches and kicks.

The Davis family stumbled, their powers wavering for an instant. Arsenal seized the opening, unleashing a mighty roar as he summoned a massive shockwave. The blast sent the family flying, their bodies crashing into the nearby buildings.

The shockwave reverberated through the school, shattering windows and sending students running for cover. As the dust settled, Arsenal stood tall, his chest heaving with exhaustion.

"Protect the kids!" The Dean yelled out to his teachers who immediately gathered the students around and cast a veil that covered them. With the help of the veil, they won't be affected by the fight.

Muna, seeing that Arsenal was getting exhausted felt sad. She really wanted to join him in the fight but he had warned her sternly not to join and she couldn't disobey it. With a heavy heart, she watched as the battle continued because the Davis family was not yet done.

They got up and charged once more, their lightning magic reignited with a vengeance. Arsenal braced himself, his eyes blazing with determination. No matter how exhausted he looked, he was bent on winning the fight.

The battle raged on, the two forces clashing in a spectacular display of power and fury. Arsenal's movements became a blur as he dodged and countered, his fists flying in a whirlwind of punches and kicks.

Mrs. Davis unleashed a devastating lightning bolt, which Arsenal barely deflected with a swift kick. The bolt ricocheted off the ground, striking her husband with incredible force. Mr. Davis stumbled back, his eyes widening in shock.

Arsenal seized the opening, delivering a crushing blow to Mrs. Davis's chest. She crumpled to the ground, her body smoldering from the lightning attack.

The two men flanking her launched a desperate barrage of lightning bolts, but Arsenal was relentless. With a swift kick, he sent one of the men crashing into a nearby building. The other man tried to flee, but Arsenal was too fast. With a swift punch, he sent the man tumbling to the ground.

Mr. Davis, enraged and humiliated, unleashed a massive lightning bolt. Arsenal raised his hand, and to the surprise of everyone, he absorbed the lightning attack. The energy coursed through his body, and with a mighty roar, he channeled it back at Mr. Davis.

The lightning bolt struck Mr. Davis with incredible force, sending him flying into the nearby buildings. The impact was immense, and the sound of crumbling concrete and steel filled the air.

"Such power!" The Dean and the teachers all gasped in shock. They have never seen anything like it, at least, not from a mere kid who seems to be in his sixteen or seventeen years.

They lifted the veil thinking that the fight was over but no, he wasn't yet done with the family.

As Arsenal began to approach Mr. Davis's broken body, his eyes blazed with fury.

With a swift kick, he sent the man's head crashing into the ground, the sound of skull meeting concrete echoing through the air.

The two men who had flanked Mrs. Davis tried to scramble to their feet, but Arsenal was too quick. He delivered a brutal kick to one man's stomach, sending him crashing into the other. The two men collapsed, their bodies writhing in agony.

Mrs. Davis, still smoldering from the lightning attack, tried to crawl away but Arsenal's foot came down on her back, pinning her to the ground. With a swift motion, he snapped her neck, the sound of vertebrae cracking echoing through the air.

The Davis family lay still, their bodies broken and lifeless. Arsenal stood tall, his chest heaving with exhaustion, yet, his eyes kept blazing with fierce intensity.

The school grounds were silent, the only sound heard was the heavy breathing of the students and teachers who had witnessed the carnage. Arsenal's reputation as a ruthless and formidable fighter was solidified at that moment.

"Master," Muna, who had noticed that something was wrong with Arsenal rushed and held him. "What is the matter? Why do you look so weak?" She asked him.

"During the fight, I relied solely on my physical strength to fight without using my dark powers," he whispered and Muna was surprised.

She had earlier wondered why he was suddenly getting tired during the fight which was unlike him, it did not occur to her that during the fight, he didn't use any additional power or spell, it was just his legs and fists doing the work.

"We need to return," he said to her and she nodded and helped him turn around. But just as they were about to leave, the Dean ran to them and lowered his head before Arsenal.

"What do you want?" Arsenal asked him.

"I want you to stay and help us," the Dean replied. "Remember you promised to help us get rid of the demons in the school," he added and at this, Arsenal laughed, though he ended up coughing at the end.

"You want me to help you? Weren't you the ones who planned on giving me up?" He asked him. "Or did you think I won't know?" He asked again and let out a soft laugh as he turned around and left. "Deal with your problems!" His voice echoed as they disappeared from that premises.

"Sir, what are we going to do now?" The teacher who insisted that they let Arsenal defend himself asked the Dean after Arsenal and Muna might have left.

"You still dare to ask me?" The Dean's voice roared like that of a wounded lion. "Figure out a solution before the day runs out or you'll be fired!" He said to them and stormed away.

The teacher's face turned cold the moment the Dean said these words. He knew how important his work was to him and didn't wish to lose it but at this point, there was nothing he could do again — he was doomed!

Meanwhile, after Arsenal and Muna left, they didn't go home straight, rather, they stopped by an Inn and went inside.

The moment Arsenal stepped his feet into the Inn, he felt a powerful dark energy lingering in the air and when he tried to figure out the source, it vanished without a trace.
