Before You Begin

This story is a definite departure from the typical Multiverse story where the MC is either a bullied underdog or a kind-hearted hero.

MC is a complex and morally gray character. He's arrogant and self-centered despite his defect, but on the other hand he still feels a sense of responsibility towards others even if he doesn't like them.

You might wonder how it's possible for the MC to be blind, thankfully the story will be written in third person omniscient. MC might be blind but he has very keen ears with a gift of discernment of the good and evil. He's also forced to use his senses to navigate the world, figure what's going on, strive to survive and of course fight.

Wang Lui An is an Asian name but this doesn't mean the whole book is based on Asian folklore or any specific folklore and myth of any kind. It's my story and I get to decide what influences and inspirations I want to include.

Other side characters who will play important roles will be included, but it still doesn't mean the story will deviate from the MC
