Chapter 7: 15th Birthday

"Cheers" Everyone chorus in unison as they came too celebrate Rei's and Shin's 15 birthday. Everyone drank ate made merry almost everyone in the family were present for this special occasion because this was the beginning of their adulthood

'Surprisingly in this world your adulthood begins from your 15th year. And at the same age one can also propose and even get married, it quite surprising.

The whole family came together both distant and close member came

Uncle Dis, Big bro Siefreid Marquez, Big sis Christina Huyden, Tom haag the shop owner we usually go to buy food stuff

"So Rei and Shin you guys finally get an opportunity to go out to the society outside this forest what would you like to do for a living"

"Hmm, I've not given some thought about it" Shin replied

"What about you Rei, any thought about what you want to after meeting the society and the people"

"Me neither I haven't thought about that. But if things come to that well I want to be a magic educator, I want to teach people about magic and how to develop"

"But in order to be a teacher you have to enlist into a school first" Uncle Dis brings in his own opinion about Rei's suggestion

"How about showing us what you can do Rei " Siefreid quipped in trying to see what the great Merlin and Melinda taught this to youngsters

"Ok then I'll open gate ti get us to a safer ground" Shin followed up

"What is this gate you speak of Shin" Dis asked in curiosity

"Gate is ability to interfere with another dimension with this magic I can connect my present destination with the destination I want to be there opening a portal to another place " Shin answered him in details

"So its basically a transportation magic"

Shin immediately opened the gate and entered the prompting everyone to follow him . On entering the gate Siefreid and Christiana bumped on each other

"Oi, move it, or do you wanna fight" Siefreid bumped his head to hers

"Huhhh? what did you just say? "

Christina grumbles back at him until they both entered the gate and immediately stopped when they approached a new environment

"I'm gonna go first" Shin steps forward looking at the vast area of land

gentle breeze begins to blow particles of sand here and there.

A heavy amount of magical power begins to gather up where Shin was standing

Shin swiftly brings his hands together gathering small amount of magical energy is is hand which later turned out to be a small fire ball

he then released it to the opening

A huge explosion which covered the entire area was what was seen by those who could open their eyes to behold such sight.

Nothing was left just smoke dust and remains of some lucky trees who didn't turn to ash in contact which such fire

"So.... How was that"

Shin turned to them in anticipation only to see people who where bewildered to the core that no one could move

"Oh? I guess it's my turn"

Rei steps forward bringing his index and his thumb fingers together gathered a very small amount of magic between them and a small stone formed. He then hits it with his index finger sending the stones flying towards the clear space at an incredible speed that not any random person could follow

Boom...

the stone impacted with the ground destroying everything near its range. The destruction was almost at the same level with shin's

Gramps how was that Rei asked Merlin for acknowledgement

"That was a good one but there is still room for improvement though "

"Oi, what did you just say now 'that was a good one, still room for improvement', you are housing too planetary destruction beings and you are telling them there is still room for improvement"

Dis holds Merlin by the collar, then releases him shortly

"I've never seen such power before it just like I'm standing with a god"

Dis talks to himself while walking closely to shin and Rei

"Merlin we have to do something about this"

Melinda quips in looking at shin and rei in the eyes. A eyes of a mother who wants nothing more than to protect her, children from harm.

"How about we enlist them into the magic academy in Earlshide at my kingdom" Dis suggested holding both rei and shin on their shoulders gripping them very tight

"Oh? is that so? There by using them as a personal property for the kingdom, I'm I right eh, Dis"

Merlin groaned in bitterness

"No Merlin you got the wrong idea my country has the bet magic training facilities where shin and Rei could learn and possibly teach"

"What do you think your country's academy can teach them right now"

"Well you got some point but it can also boost their social standards"

"Hmmm it seems I have no other choice, but just so you know if any thing bad happens to them or you and your country plots to use them as tools for warfare I Merlin warlford swear on my life to eradicate every single one of those Earlshide scums"

"Then its settled, I Disuim Von Earshide swear on my life never to use Rei walford and Shin walford as weapons for the kingdom personal gain "

"Better that way" Merlin scoffs turning towards the birth of them

"And please you to don't do anything that will bring you two into the spotlight just remain calm and blend into society, all I want us for both if you to live peaceful life"

"Wait a minute if uncle Dis is a king then Big Bro and Big Sis are..."

Shin asks in curiosity

"As for I'm one of the imperial knight here as the king escorts " Christina introduced herself properly

During the battle we all student at that time were willing to give up our lives for the fight, but then our heros came to our rescue, they defeated the demons without even breaking a sweat. Then they were so glorious and dignified" Disuim reminisces on old memories

"Rei do you have this feeling that we are being surrounded by legends" Shin asks still in shock of the story he just heard
