The x Tournament

"That was just the perfect timing right now. You just came at the right time." "That was really sick, I'll have to agree to you."

"So how are we supposed to search for this exorcist? How does he look like?" "We will just go from big city to big city and hope we will find."

"What a genius plan!" Hisoka was rolling his eyes over my comment and just ignored me. But to be honest what kind of plan was that?

Right now we were walking side to side to each other and didn't talk.

After walking for a while we reached a city. It was called Antokiba. "Welcome to the monthly challenge. This months fighting tournament will be held. If you want to participate please register yourself here."

"A tournament, that seems fun indeed. Maybe I can fight strong opponents and kill them." "First you have to register yourself."

We went to the person who announced the tournament. "Hello. We would like to register ourselves for the tournament." "Welcome. Here you just have to write your name on the board."

I wrote Dabi on the board while Hisoka wrote Chrollo on the board. I just ignored his strange attitude and gave the board back to the announcer.

"I have some questions. Are weapons allowed?" "Not in the first stage. First we have a last man standing competition. There no weapons are allowed. The eight fighters who remain able to fight after that round will fight each other in a knockout stage. Does that answer your question?"

"Yeah thank you." Now Hisoka and me had to wait till the tournament started. After around two hours it finally started.

All people participating here are real people. Time to clap their ass. All participants found themselves on the platform.

"Go!!!"

It was a huge chaos. People were knocked out left and right. I just navigated my way through the crowd without getting hit.

Her and there I would knock someone out or push them of the platform. It was not much more interesting then waiting.

But I could see someone who was having fun. Hisoka was hitting one after another. Every hit knocked someone out. It was like a grown up playing with a bunch of kids.

After sometime there were only eight people up and running. Needless to say that the first round of the tournament was over.

The eight remaining participants all assembled in a small hut next to the platform.

"That was the first round of the tournament. Now we will move on to the next rounds. We will draw lots for the next round. Please remember weapons will be allowed and killing your opponent also will be a valid way to win."

Draw for the quarter finals:

Shen vs Masked Master

Dabi vs Taizou

Sakura vs Nishina

Hisoka vs Bob

The first fight was Shen vs Masked Master. Masked Master was wearing a horse mask. It was quite strange and looked incredibly stupid.

Anyhow, the fight began. The horse as I'm going to call him now pulled to sword out of thin air. Quite a good trick.

Meanwhile Shen was fighting with some kind of wolverine claws. It was obvious that both of them were not that got in Nen and both hadn't developed a hatsu yet.

They clashed several times but none of both seemed to come out on top. The horse had a slight advantage because of his higher range.

After a few minutes of the fight, Shen sustained a quite heavy injury. The horse blocked a hit of him.

The he hit him in the face with the handle of his sword and sent him stagger backwards. Then he gave him a big cut on the stomach.

It was obvious that the fight was over. Either Shen would give up or the horse would kill him in no time.

But in the most desperate situation Shen was able to surpass his limits and find powers within himself that he would have never thought he had.

Kidding!!! The horse decapitated him before he even had the chance to give up. It seemed like he was, just like Hisoka, longing to kill someone.

"The first match of the quarter finals is over, the winner is the Masked Master!"

The spectators were cheering for the horse.

[Seems like no one cares that he just killed someone. Humans I guess, as long as no one they know gets killed they don't care.]
