chapter 8

inside the chieftain's house lays a frail middle-aged man on a bed covered with animal skins

he looked weak and you could hear how hard it was for him to breath

he was on the verge of death

suddenly the door of the room he was in opened

a giant man entered the room first after him another big man(fat)after them, entered two women and a child

it was my family

as soon as we entered the room the sleeping man opened his eyes slowly and looked in our direction, he had a faint smile on his face as he looked at me

so this is my grandpa he looks younger than he should be he looked nothing like thorfell he has a long hair and beard and he wasn't a giant the only thing they have in common in the colour of their hair and their blue eyes

here's how he look:

thought he is sick I can save him by giving him immortality and taking it back it will return him to his best health and will make him 33 again which is the peak of a human man I could do this to my grandma and thorfell too as he looks young he isn't that young he is 55 this year and my grandparent are 60and my father and mother too if needed but this will expose my secret to them maybe I should tell them I am blessed by Odin or something like that i will think about it later after I save my grandpa

as for saving him, it's easy I just need a drop of my blood in his system which will create the bond after he gets younger and gets rid of his sickness I sever the bond active because if I leave it he will feel it too and I don't want to share my secret just yet and even if I sever the bond it doesn't mean I can't activate it again if he is in danger or even death as long as I reactivate the bond and assemble his body if it is dismantled he will be revived

I should do the same for the rest of my family as insurance

and I do just that my grandpa fell asleep again after he saw us so we couldn't talk to him so my grandma led us to our rooms to rest until he is awake again

after everyone was asleep I sneaked from the room that I slept in I sneaked past the healer that was outside my grandpa's room and entered the room inside I go to the side of my grandpa take his hand cut it a little then cut my own finger and let our blood mix the moment it mixed together the wound healed and the complexion on my grandpa eased as he becomes younger and healthier I waited until he was in top shape and most of the grey hair in his hair returned to blond then I severed the bond between us and left before he woke up

the next morning I woke up to the sound of the cheers outside my room I smile and go out I see the servent walking everywhere as they did their shores they seemed happy and excited about something I go to my parents' room inside I find my mother crying with tears of joy

I go to her and ask her what happened she directly hagged me and told me that my grandpa has recovered after getting hugged for almost half an hour she tells me to prepare for tonight as their will be a party for the chieftain recovery
