Chapter 712: I Will Miss You

"I am the one who is grateful I can rely on you," Ferdinand squeezed her hand and gave it another kiss.

"I'm your wife and the Empress of Valeria. It is my job to step up when you are busy," Arabella smiled. She got up from the bed and put on a coat. "Is there anything in particular that you would like me to focus on during the Court Sessions?"

They headed to Ferdinand's study and discussed it for a few minutes. Ferdinand listed things she would need to watch out for. He also made an edict appointing Arabella as his representatives so that the ruling households would not belittle her or try to say she had no right to be the one attending the Court Sessions since she was from a foreign land.

Though they would soon be married for a year and Arabella was already recognized by a lot of the ministers, the ruling households and other nobles might turn around their attitude once Ferdinand was not by her side.
