The End and the Beginning

In the year 2090, Inside a cave on planet 5-b in solar system 309 sector 2 of the Galactic Federation, a young man lying on the ground was coughing up rivers of blood, as he lay there, he asked himself, "why?"

The young mans name was Ye chen, his parents were avid web novel readers and were named after the first of the four great families, and gave him the holiest name of the ye clan, reserved for those that were destined to trample all under their feet, ye chen. Yet, he was nothing but a disappointment, when his chance came, like in those novels that his parents read when they were young, a game that defied reality came, with 100% realism, and, as later discovered, power in the game could be brought to this world. It was a global sensation, but he, who started the game months after it was released, was destined to be ironically trampled under the feet of others. If his parents had still been among the living, maybe they could have used their ample web novel knowledge to get him a head start, but alas they had been gone since he was 10, he grew up by working illegally and other odd jobs, and he all but gave up school. Even though the odds were all against him, he managed to survive, and likewise in the game, he, through sheer hard work and willpower he managed to gain a toenail hold in the game by compiling strategies, power levelling, mercenary work, you name it. He had eventually become level 299, an upper middle levelled player after ten years in the game. However, his downfall had been a seemingly innocent chain quest, however, one thing led to another and he was caught in the middle of one of the major conflicts between two galaxies, but it was not without rich rewards, the rewards boosted him and his best friend Liu tong into the upper middle ranks of 100 billion players from lowly bottom feeders. However, humans will always be greedy, at the moment of his inheritance every hundred levels was about to be finished, Liu tong betrayed him and took possession of his chain quest, as one only had a limited number of resurrections, and he had used them all up. Once he was killed, Liu tong would take possession of the quest because he was considered part of the quest team. After getting killed, he was forced out of the game and his account was deleted, meaning that his powers would be largely diminished and he could never join the game again. After killing him in the game, Liu tong went even further and made sure the job was done. What could Ye chen do to resist? Liu tong stood there and watched as he died.
