Drunk under moonlight

Pei Jin had swiftly brought Yusheng with him to his manor. He was very clingy with her. Helpless all the elders had sourly turned blind eye to qinwangs behaviour and left back to villa.

Yusheng was in good mood and she too had missed him these days thus obediently went with him. The manor was lighted brightly and grandly decorated.

Tao had already reached ahead and was now welcoming Yusheng grandly with all the servants. Pei Jin hurled her to the pavilion in the middle of the pond wanting to be with her alone.

All the servants felt helpless at their wangye's stinginess. Tao with rows of servants hurried to pond with dishes and drinks. They were immediately chased away after placing the trays and heat stoves.

Pei Jin pulled the thick curtains on their back and sides creating more warmth. He then served her the soup that was heating on the heat stove to warm her belly. He also opened the wine he snatched from his father and served for both of them.

Yusheng felt her heart today was so warm that it was dispersing the coldness of her soul. Even though full she still sipped the soup with great relish. A cup after other and her cheeks were flushing red.

It was very hard for her to get drunk because of cultivating in strong wines but today may be she had been drinking lot or because her heart was at ease she felt her mind hazy and hot.

She looked so adorable with those big watery eyes, flushed cheeks that Pei Jin wanted to take a bite. He knew that the wine must be getting her as two jars of strong wine was already empty.

He wanted to stop her from opening the next jar but with her pouting lips he couldn't bear to. They shared many things, laughed and now were silently looking at the beautiful moon in peaceful silence.

Yusheng had her head placed on his shoulders enjoying the peace and moment. She knew that she had drunk past her normal limits but she was too happy to care. After another jar of wine which was finished by herself she was totally slurring and if not for Pei Jin holding her would have fallen.

In her haze she began to speak "Ah Jin.. very happy.. hehe.. so beautiful.. Ah Jin let's play kites together.. I miss playing them.."

Pei Jin had her in his lap hugging her while gently massaging her finger accupoints to ease her digestion. He listened to her very seriously knowing it was her deep desires that she was sharing. He so lovingly and gently tightens his hug and whispers "okay, we will play"

Happy with the answer Yusheng starts to babble with full force like a demanding child "Ah Jin.. lets also go for hunting while horse racing.. I have always wanted to try.. let's eat big pot of hotpot.. I have never eaten hotpot before.. Ah Jin let's go to market to try many dishes and snacks.. junqi says there are many delicious things on market to eat..

I want to eat the famous roasted chicken wings and grilled pork... I also want to climb and pick the peaches from dragon temple.. junqi said it was very tasty...I also want to go the lake at night to listen to the maidens of flower boats sing and dance..junqi said they have very nice voice.."

Pei Jin said okay for everything though his face was little dark about hearing flower boats. He thought about punishing junqi for mentioning such filthy place to his beloved but still was planning to take her there.

Everything was going fine the atmosphere lovely till Yusheng started to sob frightening and worrying Pei Jin. He checked to see if she was hurt somewhere when he could hear her murmuring something. Closing his ears to her mouth he listens.

"Cold.. hungry.. it's hurts.. don't kill.. don't kill." Says Yusheng while sobbing her voice so sad and pleading that was gouging Pei jins heart. He had yet to understand what she was talking about. But the way she was saying was like it as if she dad experienced this moments.

Very strange as he knew her entire life like back of his hand and never had she suffered. He was very angry and wanted to kill someone but seeing this small sobbing figure slightly trembling how could he leave her.

He hugs her passing his warmth and whispers sweet nothings. Pecks on her cheeks to assure that she was safe. Like that Yusheng finally reaches her dream land basked with warmth and gentleness from Pei Jin.
