Alex was ecstatic about the system messages from Blue Sky Water and started checking the messages he received from walking through the door.

[ You have discovered the Old Sage's Home ]

[ You have gained ownership of the Old Sage's Home ]

It was a few simple messages; however, it just meant he had taken ownership of the entire house and the items inside. While he would like to explore his new property, he didn't have much time. He quickly set the anchor point right next to the front door inside the house, and then he transferred to his other anchor point. He also made a mental note to get a teleportation scroll to bring Laura down here. He then disappeared from the house as if he was never there.

Alex reappeared inside the Black Sea Hotel. He first contacted Mia and asked her to meet him at the Black Sea Hotel with everything they were able to gather. He had given them plenty of quests that earned them high gold and even some good items. He didn't care much for the items; however, he needed to collect the gold for the upcoming auction. While he waited, he also began counting the magic crystals he had received from the King, no, Richard. He had already counted at least a million magic crystals of various types; however, he wanted to know what elements they were. An example of the difference between elements: an advanced element would be worth 5 basic elements, while a variant element would be worth 5 advanced elements.

It took an hour for Mia to arrive at the Black Sea Hotel, and during that time, he was able to count the total number of crystals. He had gotten 1,263,027 magic crystals.

Most of them were of the basic elements, but he had received 203,000 advanced elements and 60,000 variant elements. So in total, he had an extra 1,015,000 from his advanced elements, and then he had an extra 1.5 million from his variant elements. He had quite a good amount, and he was expecting quite a bit of gold from his guild. He quickly looked at the guild interface in satisfaction at its growth.

They had gained a little over 2,000 members in the short time he had been away. Moreover, he knew that these members were the cream of the crop. He had set high standards to join his guild and knew that they were all experts. Of course, they couldn't compete with the larger guilds just yet; however, he was getting there and could already be considered a third-rate guild. While he was relishing in his guild's progress, Mia's voice brought him back to reality.

"Alex! I missed you!"

"Haha! What do you mean? It's only been a week."

"Yeah, but it's been longer because of the time difference."

"That is true, although I would love to talk more, we are already short on time. How much gold and magic crystals have you collected?"

"Thanks to the information you've given us, we have already collected 150,000 magic crystals, and then 750,000 gold coins. Most of them were from the Library of Secrets; however, we were able to get 250,000 in total."

"Whew! That should be enough. Alright, let's get going."

"Huh? Where are we going?"

"To an auction, a very special auction."

"Mhm, let's go then."

Mia was blushing furiously as certain thoughts raced inside her mind.

"Is this a date!? Is this more than a date!? My father had told me that men usually bring female company to auctions for a specific purpose. Don't tell me he's going to ask me to do that!?"

Alex, completely unaware, was leading them to the Spirit Association. Once inside, he quickly found a certain man sitting alone in the corner. Alex smiled and walked up to him. He nodded to the man and quietly said,

"Bless us all."

"Mhm, bless us all."

The man then handed him a purple ticket. Alex tore the ticket, and he and Mia disappeared from the area. They reappeared inside a room decorated with a red and black design. A few couches were placed in front of a huge glass wall showing a large stage. Alex nonchalantly sat down and gestured for Mia to do the same. Once he sat down, a terminal appeared in front of him, showing the items that would be auctioned off that day. He quickly sent in his 5 gallons of Blue Sky Water, with each gallon being a different sale. If they passed inspection, then they would be a part of the main auction. If not, they would become part of the side auction that would take place afterward.

While Alex was looking through the auction catalog, Mia was shyly sitting there waiting for him to talk. A few minutes later, Alex looked up and said,

"It should be starting soon. Anyway, Mia, if you see something that the guild might need, just tell me."

"Huh? Is that why you brought me along?"

"That's right. You know the guild's situation better than me."

"Sigh! Alright, I'll let you know."

"Why do you seem so disappointed? Did you think I brought you here for another reason? Maybe, a little snack?"

"Heee! N-n-no!!"

"Ahahaha! You know you become quite cute when you're flustered."

"Humph!"

"Alright, alright, I yield."

"I don't buy it. I won't talk to you anymore."

"Aww! Then what am I going to do with all that free time I have tomorrow? I guess I'll just have to spend it with Claire instead."

"N-no! I-I'll talk to you again! Humph, consider it me taking pity on you."

"Yes, yes, I understand."

"Hehe! Then it's a date!"

"Sure, I guess a date would be nice."

Alex watched Mia smile with joy, and a smile broke out on his face too. Alex then thought of a great idea and smiled mischievously. While still sitting down, he slowly moved his body closer to hers, and while she was still in her own world, he kissed her. Mia's eyes lit up in surprise from the sudden intrusion in her mouth and she became motionless. She was only able to react a few seconds later; however, Alex had already removed his lips from hers. He licked his lips and said with a sly grin,

"Thanks for the treat!"
