Chapter 19: Kidnapped

Seeing that he left, An Lengyan wanted to scream. She didn't expect Lu Li to really come, but he was too unreliable. He couldn't even locate her, so it seemed like she had to save herself.

Footsteps came from afar. It was the gang of robbers. Both of them thought of this at the same time. An Lengyan hadn't completely recovered from the knockout drug yet. Lu Li quickly picked her up and ran towards a small path.

He ran very fast, but An Lengyan didn't feel any bumpiness. This young man's chest was surprisingly firm. She wrapped her arms around the young man's neck and rested her head on his neck.

The sudden closeness made Lu Li pause. He staggered and almost tripped over his own feet.

He quickly ran towards the small path with An Lengyan in his arms. As the footsteps behind him got closer and closer, he dodged and hid under a stairway.

The staircase was very secluded, but narrow. Lu Li felt that it would be a little cramped even if he was alone, not to mention he had An Lengya in his arms. He could only crouch on the ground and hug the woman in his arms tightly before he could barely hide the two of them.

Footsteps could be heard around them. When the robbers saw that they were gone, they cursed and looked for them. They kept saying that if they found them, they would teach them a lesson.

The two people hiding under the stairs were not nervous or afraid. An Lengyan leaned against his chest and heard his heartbeat gradually increase. This discovery made her smile slightly. She gently approached Lu Li's ear and asked, "Lu Li, do you have your cell phone? I'll call the Luo family. They will come and save us."

Lu Li only felt a slight itch in his ear. He quietly put the phone in his coat pocket into his inner pocket and imitated her behavior. He leaned closer to her ear and said, "No."

It was a simple word, but his lips accidentally brushed past her earlobe. An amorous air rose between the two of them.

An Lengyan didn't think that he was doing it on purpose. Instead, she was thinking about how to escape. Who knew how long those people would search for? If they found out. Lu Li, with her as a burden, would be no match for them.

She was seriously thinking of a way. Lu Li, who wasn't worried at all, tightened his arms and hugged her even tighter. The two of them stuck close to each other, and the temperature of their bodies constantly affected each other.

An Lengyan noticed that Lu Li was hugging her tightly. She puffed up her chest slightly and whispered into his ear, "Don't worry. There will be a way."

Lu Li let out a soft grunt. He could no longer notice what she was saying. All his attention was drawn to the softness of her chest.

As time passed, An Lengyan felt her legs go numb from being held in Lu Li's arms. Lu Li was probably feeling even worse. She quietly moved her body to lessen his burden. She didn't expect to be pulled back by Lu Li as soon as she moved. He tightened his arms and hugged her even tighter. He didn't look like he couldn't bear it.

In that case, An Lengyan relaxed and leaned in his arms comfortably.

Lu Li's eyes flashed with mirth. When he touched the dirt on her white dress, his gaze deepened. A secret thought rose in his mind.

She was like the moon in the sky to him. She was bright and holy while shining with her own light and illuminating the eyes of those who looked at her. However, he was just the dirt on the ground. He was unworthy of her.

This made him very irritable, but today, he held the moon in his arms. It turned out that as long as the moon was stained with mud, he could have her.
