Chapter 2: New Life

Thud

My body is aching so much and I was greedily gasping for air.

I spent 5 whole minutes just to make my breathing stable. I sat on the ground as I observe my surrounding.

'Where I am, Why I am here? Did someone saw her being thrown into the ocean and rescue her.

Knock Knock

My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of loud knocking at the door. I hear a woman screaming loudly that even the neighbor can hear her.

I don't I understand what she was saying, all I can hear was her constantly banging the door and screaming loudly.

As I don't know where I am I paid no mind to the banging and screaming. I was looking and observing this strange room that I'm in, I heard the woman shout again but this time I heard it clearly.

"Su Yu Yan, Don't let me repeat it again, go and cook lunch later, Me and your cousins are going to the city" The woman said before leaving.

"Su Yu Yan" I muttered under my breath.

Suddenly I felt a pang in my head and a series of memory fragments came in my head. It hurts.

So, the woman banging the door and shouting loudly is my Aunt, Gong Bao, who always like beat and scolds the girl.

I have 2 cousins who always like to bully me in house and in school.

My Uncle, Gong Wei, likes to beat the girl up when he's not in the mood and drunk.

The girls life is really miserable in this house, she's treated like a slave that you can order around anytime.

The girl can't do anything since she's scared of her Aunt and Uncle might beat her up when she don't obey them.

Her life is like the slave in the 1600's, slaves was treated like a toy in their master's household. They get beat up when they don't obey they're even beheaded if the 'crimes' were serious.

I looked at myself in the mirror that I found while looking around the room I'm in.

The girl in the mirror looked really beautiful with those heart shape face, round eyes, pointed nose and, pouty lips.

The girl looked really beautiful and of course when you have this kind of face you can't really stop people being jealous of you and wanting to destroy your face.

Grumble Grumble

I can hear that my stomach complaining already. So, let's go cook our food.

I open the rooms door and it let out 'creak' sounds.

I looked around seeing that nobody was there I easily locate the kitchen. The house was not really that big it's just enough I guess?.

I'm not complaining that the house was small it's just... Whatever.

The kitchen looked clean and decent. I notice the vegetable scattered in the table. I decided to cooked stir fried vegetable, just enough to satisfy my appetite.

Just I was about to back to my room after I finished eating, the was blast open by someone outside. My Aunt, Gong Bao, enter the house with my cousins.

Without much thought I left the kitchen and calmly walking to my room and just what I expected from this Aunt of mine. The moment she step inside the house she began screaming like the people were deaf.

"Where's the food" It wasn't a question it's an order from my Aunt.

I glance at them calmly before speaking. "If you want to eat, go and cook your own food" I calmly said before continuing to enter my room.

The moment I closed the I can my so-called Aunt screaming loudly, like were a few miles away from each other.

I payed no mind to my Aunt screaming. I started to think of a plan to take my revenge to whoever wronged her in the past and even the present.

"I need to think of a plan" I muttered.

Just as I was about to think of a plan, I heard a mechanical voice in my head.

"Host Selected...."
