Chapter 90: I really am your Fiancé:

I turned to look at everyone in the room and asked "Whose this dude?". Everyone looked so shocked. What's with everyone's expression? I mean the way he stares at me makes me feel weird. "Hui Qing, you really don't remember him?" my dad asked as I nodded. "This is Qi Yan, he's your fiance," he explained. "WHAT? FIANCE? SINCE WHEN DID I HAVE A FIANCE?," I shouted really loudly as I looked at my so-called fiance. 

"Let me get this straight," I commented after I had calmed down. "This dude here. Is my fiance and I am 21 years old. Pray tell me, how am I supposed to be engaged at such a young age?" I questioned my parents. "Hui Qing, they really are telling the truth," the man named Qi Yan exclaimed as he tried to touch my hand. I took my hand away from his reach and looked around very shockingly.

I really needed a long time to process this newfound information. I sent everyone outside and I stated that I just need time to process this newfound knowledge. I noticed that everyone left after half an hour or so. It was only that man who stayed the whole time. He didn't even come inside yet he didn't leave. He just stood outside the door. I could see because of his shadow from the window. 

During this time that Qi Yan was standing outside the medical room, I went on Weibo to search about what happened during these 3 years. In my account, I saw a lot of pictures of me and Qi Yan together. I also saw a lot of reports about me and Qi Yan's love story. 

I searched for the name Qi Yan and saw all of the news about him. Qi Yan was the grandson of Qi Yu the chairman of the Phoenix company a really well-known entertainment company. It produced a lot of first-line actors/actresses. Qi Yan had also opened up a shop of his own. It was a gaming company that was quite famous in the industry. 

Through these pictures and posts, I could tell that Qi Yan and I seemed to love each other a lot. But how come I don't remember anything about him? All the stuff I remember about has to do with Song Ze Lin. Seemed quite strange. 

There were no chairs outside my room. Qi Yan had stood there the whole time. "Qi Yan come inside, don't just stand there," I shouted raising my volume quite loudly in the hope he could hear. He didn't come in. I thought that he didn't hear me. I was going to shout again. But at that moment he came right in.

"Did you call for me?" he asked as I nodded. "Come inside and sit down," I mumbled as he nodded and sat on the chairs on the right of my chair. "Do you know who has been sleeping here this whole time?" I asked as he nodded. "It was me," he replied. I kinda guess it must have been him. 

"I searched online and found out we were actually engaged. But, I have no memories with you. Can you talk about the time we spent together?" I asked as he nodded very eagerly. 

This was my first step in getting to know this stranger. I feel a weird sort of feeling towards him. I don't know if I loved him or not. But I know for sure, in my heart Song Ze Lin will always be the first. 

"Hmm, I can. Our first date was in the aquarium...." he began talking. He talked for over an hour with pauses to drink water. It seems that I enjoyed the time I spent with him. Yet these only felt like stories to me. Stories about other people and not me. I don't know why but the Hui Qing that came from his mouth was definitely not the Hui Qing I know. It's really weird. 

"Qi Yan, you should head home it's getting late. Have a good sleep at home. I will be waiting to talk to you tomorrow," I asked as he nodded. I saw him closing the curtains in the room before leaving. He actually left this time. I hope that he will get a good sleep.
