Chapter 59: Oh this is a surprise (1):

Throughout the car journey, Wei Wei and I were just talking about nonsense and how Feng Xiu Ying seemed to have done nothing in the previous month. Which is quite worrying. 

"To be honest, Hui Qing why don't you try to convince your parents to let you drive a car? I mean you have got a driving license," she muttered. I looked at her and replied "You know the answer so don't question it. Ever since that incident, they won't let me touch a car. And neither will you," I signed as images of me racing on a mountain flashed through my brain and the times I've had with him. All the fun we had. All but memories right now. Memories only I hold.

"Next month is his death memorial right?" Wei Wei asked as I nodded. "Are you going to go?" she proceeded to ask as I glared at her as if saying whether or not she was being an idiot for asking this question. Every memorial of his, I have gone so what makes her think I won't go this time? Perhaps it's because I'm dating Qi Yan but then again when I was dating Luo Ning I still went to his memorial. Not even going to lie if he hadn't died, I would've married him. But then this is all fate. His death led to me meeting Luo Ning and then Qi Yan. And hopefully nobody else...

And if he was still on earth, I wonder what sort of man he would be...

As my head was filled with these thoughts, I realised that we have arrived at the front of his company. I took my seatbelt off and noticed the bags in the back seats. There is no way we can carry all of that. Just as I was considering what to do, I remember about Ye Bai Yi. He can help us. Hence, I called him downstairs to help us.

Just as Wei Wei saw him she looked at him as if it was love at first sight and whispered to me "You never told me he was so handsome. Is he single?". I rolled my eyes in despair. In my last life, Wei Wei also ended up as Ye Bai Yi's girlfriend however they broke up not too long later. Looks like it's the same. It seems that Ye Bai Yi was also having the same reaction as Wei Wei because I noticed him straightening his back up and smiling whilst walking towards us.

Does that mean that the future I know of will happen? No... It shouldn't or wouldn't. The Wen family doesn't have any descendants left. That is something I'm sure of. Must be sure. Next week I must make sure Hui Yun doesn't end up in her horrible state.

Ye Bai Yi walked up to us and already knew what we wanted him to do because I had already simplified what his job was on text. He grabbed as many bags as he could and only left 4 bags for us in total. I carried a red thermos bag that was filled with Qi Yan's food and grabbed two other bags. The thermos back was placed on my shoulder so I had space to grab the other two.

As Wei Wei had already closed her car so Ye Bai Yi began to lead us upstairs. We passed through many stores as Ye Bai Yi led us to an escalator and went straight onto Level 6. There were 10 levels in total. The last level was the CEO's private place. Levels 8-9 was the level for higher-ups. The rest nwas the HR department, program department and so on...

When we handed out all the food to the people staying overnight on floors 6 and 7 they all thanked me. However, I caught wind later on that many people were trying to guess my identity as they had noticed that Ye Bai Yi was very respectful towards me and they just so happened to hear Wei Wei call me Hui Qing. So, they immediately realised that I was their CEO's future wife so their attitude towards me was much more respectful and less cheerful unlike before. Gosh... looks like there will be many rumours flying around in Qi Yan's office tomorrow.

After we were done Ye Bai Yi led me towards the CEO's room to see Qi Yan. He left me at the door and went on with Wei Wei towards the common room. I knocked on the door gently and there was no reply. I opened the door and saw Qi Yan's eyes closed. He seems to be sleeping, hence I gently dimmed the lights and brought the coat I saw on the coat stand and brought it over to cover him.

Just as I put the thermos container onto the table Qi Yan seems to arouse. He looked at me and muttered, "Am I dreaming?" I laughed at him and shook my head. "Then I must be dreaming of seeing you hear," whispered Qi Yan. I chuckled cheerfully and proceeded to walk towards Qi Yan. I gently massaged his shoulders and asked whether not he wanted to eat first or go back to sleep. "Eat?" he whispered he jolted straight up and noticed the thermos container on the coffee table. "This is a surprise," he assumed as he got up and walked to the coffee table.
