REBIRTH AND REVENGE

"From now on, you can stay in this room and live the rest of your life here for all I care," were the words that condemned Li Na to a lifetime of isolation and despair at the hands of her own family. Betrayed by her sister, Li Jing, who injected her with a lethal dose of poison, Li Na's world faded into darkness, filled with a deep sense of sadness and betrayal. But fate had a different plan for Li Na. Instead of the expected descent into the afterlife, she found herself transported to a new existence, her younger self staring back at her from the mirror. Overwhelmed by this inexplicable rebirth, tears welled in her eyes as she made a solemn vow to herself: to seek justice and make her family pay for the pain they had inflicted upon her. As Li Na battles with the struggles of her past, a new surprise awaits. … With their faces just an inch apart, he softly asked her, "Do you trust me?" tracing her lips with one finger, lightly.  With a quivering smile, she nodded and whispered, "Yes, I trust you." To her Tang Zheng was the light sent by the heavens to shed her tears away. As Li Na embraces this new chapter of her life, a veil of mystery envelopes her path. The shadows whisper, and destiny's secrets slowly unveil, shaping Li Na's fate in ways she never imagined.

Strike a pose

As he arrived at the food stall where Li Na and Ning Yu had finished their meal, Ning An's eyes scanned the surroundings, searching for the familiar figures. And there they were, standing by the roadside, waiting for him. Li Na's radiant smile caught his attention, and he felt his heartbeat a little.

Approaching them, Ning An greeted them with a charming grin. "Hey, sorry for the wait. Ready to go?"

Ning Yu handed him her phone and asked him to take pictures of them. Ning An couldn't help but sigh as he thought about how he had spoiled his little sister, Ning Yu a little too much.

Ning An chuckled at Ning Yu's request and took the phone from her. He positioned himself to capture the perfect angle and snapped a few pictures.

"Alright, strike a pose, Ning Yu!" he playfully instructed, giving her a mischievous grin.

He quickly assumed the role of a photographer. Ning Yu posed for the camera, Ning Yu struck exaggerated poses, pretending to be a supermodel. Li Na couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Ning Yu finished her poses and grabbed Li Na, who was smiling. "Come on, Li Na, let's take some pictures together!" Ning Yu exclaimed, excitedly.

Li Na hesitated for a moment but eventually agreed, saying, "Alright, but let's keep it quick. We don't want to keep brother Ning An waiting."

Ning Yu responded "Oh, don't worry, we'll be super fast. Just a few shots and we're good!"

When they were done posing, Ning Yu hurriedly approached Ning An to collect her phone and check the pictures. She playfully complained about the angles he captured of her and gave him a side-eye.

Ning An let out a small sigh, "I'll work harder next time, my little ancestor. Don't be too upset." He smiled, trying to lighten the mood as Ning Yu walked off excitedly to show the pictures to Li Na.

The photos turned out great, satisfied with the results, Li Na and Ning Yu made their way back to the car.

Ning An, sitting in the driver's seat, turned to Li Na and asked, "Li Na, could you please share your home address with me?"

Li Na nodded and shared her address with him.

Back at the food stall, a man sighed deeply, regret weighing heavy on his shoulders. He had arrived at the street stall too late, missing the opportunity to approach his target. Disappointment filled his heart as he realized she had managed to slip away before he could reach her.

As he stood there, contemplating his next move, his phone rang, breaking the silence. He answered the call, and a voice on the other end asked, "Were you able to get her?"

Regretfully, the man responded, "No, unfortunately, she got away before I could reach her. However, I did manage to capture a photo of her. It's a bit blurry, but I'll send it to you. Please help me search for her."

With a heavy sigh, the call came to an end, and the man pocketed his phone. He made his way to his car, and drove off.

Soon, the trio arrived at Li Na's house. Li Na stepped out of the car and bid farewell to Ning An and Ning Yu, thanking them for the ride. With a smile, she turned and walked towards her front door.

As Ning An watched Li Na walk into her house, a soft sigh escaped his lips. He couldn't help but, wonder when he would see her again.

His thoughts were interrupted by Ning Yu, who had been silent during the drive. She revealed the incidents that had taken place at the banquet, describing how Li Na's sister had taken sides with a stranger. Ning Yu shook her head in disbelief, saying, "Li Na is having it tough. She is living with a pack of wolves."

Ning An's brows furrowed as he listened to his sister. He turned to Ning Yu and proposed, "Why don't you invite her for a sleepover? It might give her a chance to relax and take her mind off things, even if just for a little while."

Ning Yu turned to her brother, taken aback by his words. She studied his face, searching for any hidden intentions. Squinting her eyes, she asked, "Why are you so concerned? What's the real reason behind this sudden interest in Li Na?"

Ning An cleared his throat and said. "From what you said, it doesn't feel safe for her to stay with her family. What if they try to harm her? Besides, isn't she your friend?"

Ning Yu was taken aback by her brother's self-righteous tone. Silence filled the car as Ning Yu pondered his words for a moment. Eventually, she turned to him with a softened expression. "You're right. I will ask her what she thinks."

As soon as Li Na walked into her house, without warning, a flying object came hurtling towards her, and she instinctively ducked, narrowly avoiding the object.

Her mother, Zhang Mei, sat in the living room, her eyes glazed with anger and intoxication. She hurled a cup in Li Na's direction, the sound of shattering glass echoed through the room.

"What is the meaning of this?" Li Na demanded, her voice trembling with anger.
