The Birth of a Rockstar

Danny sighed and sat back on the couch, there were a million thoughts going in his head, he wanted him and Ember to explore more of the Ghostzone and battle the unknown creatures, or be in the V.I.P sections in one of her many popular concerts throughout the zone and the Human Realm but doing that as of right now is an impossible task, his lover is two months pregnant and expecting any week now, her huge swollen belly was almost indistinguishable from any other human women that was nine months pregnant. He would be happy when the pregnancy was all done but he knew even when the child was born, they wouldn't be able to do anything for a little while, and constant harassment from the Ghost Paparazzi had become such a tiring task towards the haunted Teen Idol. They always peppered her with hostile questions about who the baby daddy was, This was increased when Ember decided to fulfill a Hiatus on all her concerts, which enraged most of her loyal followers.

They held off the gender because Ember wanted it to be a surprise due to the constant bickering of which gender it's going to be. Penelope Spectra always wanted to perform a delivery on a ghost baby as she failed to be an obstetrician during her lifetime, but Danny pleaded with her to let him perform the birth, it would be a great moment of embrace for both of them. Spectra gave a fed up nod and agreed to his request.

Danny was practicing doing Air Guitar solos on her prized possession when he was interrupted by a loud scream.

"DANNY!" He jolted at the sound and sprinted towards Ember's pleas for help he floated down the stairs, only to see Ember laying down on the ground, her flaming hair almost non-existent, she stared at Danny with tears, pain, and joy all wrapped up in one emotion.

"T-the baby is coming, I'm in labor!" Ember said uncontrollably.

"Oh my gosh!"Danny eyes widened, he hurried to her side and picked her up bridal style.

"Let's go to the make shift delivery room that I organized" Danny said while floating towards the area, he sat Ember down and began to put on gloves.

"I hope Pen thought you all the things you need to do, because any mistake on this, I'll torture you for the rest of my afterlife," Ember growled while giving a fake glare towards him. Danny smiled and nodded, he loved when she made those cute threat quotes.

"Don't worry Emy, Spectra showed me everything I needed to know about ghost baby slash human hybrids, well technically a quarter" Danny said while running his fingers through his black hair.

"Oh boy, I feel so much more comfortable" Ember rolled her eyes while another contraction gripped her. Danny gave a quick peck on her lips and went down to business.

"Baby-pop, how long is this going to last, I'm dying over here!" Ember moaned in agony. Danny chuckled.

"Irony" Danny gave a toothy grin at her, Embers eyes turned red. Danny grin turned to panic, she was the type of women to hold a deadly grudge, and maybe he should just get going.

"Ahhhh!" Ember screamed, she grabbed a hold of his hand, squeezing it as tight as possible.

"I know you're in agony, but let go, I won't be able to perform the delivery with my hands crushed" Danny expressed while taking his fingers away, Ember gave a surrendered look.

"Sorry dipstick," Ember grinned gently.

"Okay, keep pushing Ember, you can do it" Danny commanded.

"Don't you think I want to" Ember said back.

"Keep going, you're almost there," Danny remarked.

"I-I'm doing the best I can" Ember said, tears rushing down like a flood, ruining for mascara.

"Again Again!" Danny soothed while yelling calmly, "I can see the head and the top of the ear" Danny's eyes widened in joy, it was actually happening.

"Want a fucking cookie with that?" Ember replied sarcastically and then went back to her weak state.

"Babe you're doing an amazing job, alright, one last push, make it the biggest one you can do" Danny tried to encourage his weakened flame.

"I bet you get kicks seeing me in pain like this" Ember said bitterly, using her last push and scream, it felt like the entire room was shaking, the wet hybrid bundle fell into Dannys arm's and he gasp in a shocking like way.

"What happened, is something wrong?" Ember said in a very nervous state, she tried to sit up but due to her ordeal her body basically forced her to lay down on the bed.

"Nothing, it's a miracle" Danny smiled towards his wife, "It's a girl!"

"L-let me look," Ember once gain try to sit upright but couldn't and laid back down, Danny slowly moved towards Ember, he held the baby in a blue Skelton designed blanket. The female baby looked at Ember with her green eyes and moved her tiny finger towards her, almost like she has the desire to touch her mother's face. She gave a small look at her face, she had blue hair but it was natural, and not the non-harm flame hair that her mother had, tears formed around Ember's eyes. Danny smiled but wondered.

"Why don't ghost babies cry," Danny asked, slightly nervous, "Don't they cry like human babies do, she's a hybrid you know"

"Oh my silly dipstick, ghost genes are very strong, also ghost babies are not as loud as the human ones, which means we get extra hours a sleep" Ember said with a toothy grin, Danny smiled and wrapped his arms around his lover while eyeing their beautiful daughter"

"She's so pretty," Ember cooed, gently caressing her face.

"Just like mommy" Danny giggled, pecking Ember's cheeks and their daughter's cheeks.

"What name are we going to give her?" Danny said.

"I'm not picky, but I always wanted to have Lunarcrumbus, destroyer of soul, she's going to devour humans wills in the future" Ember smiled evilly, thinking about the destruction she and her daughter will cause in the future in the human realm.

Danny felt like he was going to pass out from shock.

"Ha, just kidding baby-pop, I have a name, what about Lucia, it has a really rad tone to it" Ember figured, Danny said.

"I really like that name, it's very classy" Danny smiled giving a hearty shrug.

"Alright," Ember looked down at their little bundle, "You'll be called Lucia Phantom" Ember then pecked her forehead, "Our little Rockstar..."

Danny glanced at Ember, he could see, this was all Ember ever wanted, she needed a desire to be loved by someone who cares about her deeply and will protect and fight for her no matter what the cost is. Danny placed his arm around them, enjoying both their embrace.
