a team of 7 people could be seen leaving the town, at the back of the group was a youth talking with a middle-aged man and a cat girl, "goodbye catty, I'll miss your food, take care uncle max!"

Leon then turned around and joined sir Ronald and Noriko at the front of the group.

(Leon's Pov:)

I'll miss you guys, I'll make sure to come back someday.

"hm...the demon tracking relic has found the location of the demonic entity and it's near...ALRIGHT MEN KEEP YOUR GUARD UP FOR ANY SURPRISES!" shouted sir Ronald making me wake up from my thoughts.

"Leon and Noriko are in the front, Kevin, Louis, and Jamal protect David, and David will aid the attackers with spells, I'll keep an eye out for you guys so you don't get hurt."

following sir Ronald's words, a group of 8 green goblins came out from behind the trees, we were surprised but it seems sir Ronald already knew that they were there.

we took formation and I went with Noriko for the attack, the goblins were weak, so with a horizontal strike with the sword, I already decapitated 2 goblins, that's when the same phenomenon that happened after my first kill happened again, that's right 'reaper' activated making me gain a new skill 'stealth [peak stage bronze]', well that's new, I'll look into it later.

Noriko looked at me and then pouted "hmph" she then dashed toward 4 goblins, " 1st move: moon dance " with her footwork coupled with the sword art of her family she was able to kill them beautifully as if it was a dance.

it was a BIG, FAT, DISGUSTING orc more than 3 meters in height, but it wasn't a normal orc, it was a demonic one, thanks to sir Ronald's teaching, I can now know a demonic being if I see one, to put it simply, a demonic being is an entity that was corrupted and fell to the control of their madness and sins, the creature will lose all rationality and seek to destroy anything and anyone they see, and spread demonic energy in their surroundings.

and from the dark mana that circled the orc, I could tell that it was corrupted, that's enough information, let's FIGHT!

"It's a low-stage silver-level corrupted beast so watch out!" sir Ronald said, not wanting to interfere in the fight for some reason, I and Noriko looked at each other and nodded, if we want to kill it we need to work together, but I need to be the one who delivers the final blow to get it's unique skill, whatever it is.

the orc came running at us as he swung the big wooden club in his hand, we both moved in unison and dodged the attack which left a crater on the ground, we then split to circle the orc, Noriko from the back, and me from the front, unlike Noriko, I don't have a sword style so I only used the basics coupled with brute force.

even tho this technique is still in testing I'll do it anyway, I started manipulating the flame particles in the air to cover my sword, then after feeding it a bit of mana I now have a flaming sword, which will stop it from regenerating, I smiled menacingly at the orc, I then did a barrage of slashes cutting the orc's right arm and mutilating his body.

it seems Noriko agrees with me as she started attacking and making cuts appear on the orc's body more than he can heal.

"Raaaah!" but the orc didn't give up as he grabbed me and lifted me with his left arm, shit my sword melted!

"Ugh!" the orc started squeezing his hand, if I was a normal human I would've turned to meat paste, thankfully that's not the case.

"Hold on!" Noriko said as she jumped towards the orc's arm, "2nd move: crescent moon!" she then performed a crescent slash, leaving a trail of blood in the air as the orc's hand fell to the ground with me in it.

I was able to get out from the orc's clutch, and just as I was about to hit the floor, I made a gun motion with my hand, then condensed the flame particles to the max of my ability, and then directed the small ball towards the orc's head, "Bang" *BOOM* the force of the explosion directed at the orc made its head explode like a melon.

"phew...glad that move worked" I sighed in relief, " hahaha what a good talent I found!" sir Ronald smiled happily" I was about to interfere but I'm glad I didn't hahaha" I'm starting to doubt this man's actions..." try not to do dangerous stuff like that again...you could be hurt," said Noriko as she looked at me and checked for any injuries., I was really injured, I think I broke 4 ribs, but thanks to the ability I gained, they already healed.

'super regeneration[low-stage silver]' was all worth it.
