Leap into the deep. collapse of the labyrinth

The group fought their way through increasingly confusing corridors that ended in numerous dead ends. Small enemies lurked everywhere, wearing the group down and requiring high levels of concentration. Mortis noticed that most of the members of his group became nervous, especially when deep water was visible and the paths became narrow. Lina made fun of them, saying that these people couldn't swim. But how could they, when their whole lives were characterized by sand and water was only used for drinking and cleaning?

Despite the challenges, the group overcame two more bosses on their way: a snapping turtle that dropped a shield for Haru, and a giant tomb that was rock-hard and covered in ice. It left behind an armor for warriors with fist weapons, but no one really needed it. Mortis pocketed it to give to his future son-in-law later.

Mortis' advantage in this labyrinth was the system that marked the way and created a map. This enabled them to progress bit by bit without getting completely lost. As soon as they had left the narrow corridors behind them, they heard running water again, but stronger than ever before. The people of the desert had a queasy feeling, and when they reached the end, they were greeted by a beautiful waterfall. The water fell from everywhere in the cave, and only the spot where they were standing remained dry. All around, a vortex engulfed the water, which was illuminated by the glowing walls in beautiful colors and rainbows.

However, the group's eyes were fixed on a sign that showed a person jumping off the cliff. It seemed that their next adventure would lead them into the whirlpool that also engulfed the waterfall.

Solaman said nothing, but the look on his face spoke volumes. Like his wife Maria, he would have liked to run away. But Mortis stood between them, grabbed them both by the shoulder and said: "Sometimes you have to jump over your shadow, and adventures like this can really bring people together." Then he grabbed them both and threw them off the cliff at the same time. In shock and fear, Solaman and Maria clung to each other as they fell.

Haru and Klaria were about to take to their heels, but they were the next victims, simply pushed over the edge by Mortis. Faral had Lina in his arms and elegantly jumped down himself. Mortis, on the other hand, took a running start and jumped in like a laughing child.

Barely touched by the vortex, they were sucked in and shot through a path of water. High pressure weighed on them as they were propelled through a tunnel at high speed. The water surrounded them, and all they could hear was the rush of the water around them. Then, with a sudden jolt, they were hurled into a large area where they finally surfaced, elated not to have drowned. However, this relief was quickly dampened by the unexpected scene of the suffering dragon.

Mortis sensed the unease in the air and the tension spreading among the members of the group. The blue dragon, screaming and writhing in pain, gave them all pause. Mortis couldn't tell exactly what was happening to the dragon, but his instincts told him that there was something threatening in the air.

The desert folk were both relieved and confused as they emerged from the water path. However, the joy of not drowning was quickly dampened by the unexpected scene of the suffering dragon. Mortis, unsure of the situation himself, drew his weapon and prepared for a possible fight.

The group stood there tensely as the dragon suddenly toppled over and appeared to die. The desert people were shocked and turned to Mortis with questions. It was unclear whether the dragon was really dying or whether there was something else in store for them.

The group, shocked by the dragon's sudden transformation, realized the seriousness of the situation. The dragon's light blue scales turned eerily black, while its dead eyes took on a menacing red glow. A musty smell spread, and the water in which the dragon's tail hung turned black, as if it were devouring everything around it. The entire labyrinth shook, and the surroundings were dominated by an ominous black and white scheme.

Mortis, with his system, received the warning that the labyrinth had suffered damage or was being infested by something outside. The group knew they had to act quickly to avert the impending danger. Mortis drew his weapon and shouted to his companions: "We must defeat the dragon and find the core of this labyrinth before this world collapses and takes us with it!"

The atmosphere in the labyrinth became increasingly threatening. The collapsing walls and the intrusion of lava made the situation unbearable. Mortis, determined and ready for the final battle, summoned his ghost attack force. Each member had a specific role and, with Mortis in the lead, they coordinated to face the undead dragon, which began the battle with a deafening roar.
