Prologue

You are Cara Jean Hall, daughter of Patrick Hart. You were born and raised in Toronto, living with your parents and 5 sisters. Everything was normal, until your mom started to be consumed by addiction.

Once your mother got out of hand your parents got a divorce, sending your mom to New York.

Soon your father's lab work began to show results, and he needed test subjects.

One by one he experimented on his daughters, and one by one they were gone.

When he finally got to you he believed he failed, your heart stopped. But soon you were back, he had made a human bird hybrid.

Gorgeous black wings trailed down your back, their feathers shining in the light. But there was something else, you had become one with death.

During the time your heart stopped, you were caught between the mortal and the spirit worlds.

Now you can communicate with spirits, and so much more.

Your father didn't want anyone stealing his work, so he sent you to live in your mother's old apartment.
