Chapter 1: The Orphan

The sun was setting over the small village of Qingyang, casting a warm glow over the dirt streets and shabby houses. In the distance, the sounds of clashing swords and shouts echoed from the training grounds.

Li Yun sat on the steps of the orphanage, his eyes fixed on the distant figures. He had always been fascinated by the world of cultivation, a world where ordinary people could become powerful immortals with unimaginable abilities.
