9. The apocalypse

Rayd walks towards Nora and place a gentle kiss on her forehead, her cheeks, then her closed lids.

"Am sorry Anora", he whispers softly before going back to the mirror.

The girl inches closer to Rayd not understanding what his about to do, she hope his not going to give her master for some information.

"Rayd", she called him in a whisper,

"Rayd, please what are you trying to do", she calls a bit louder, but still gets no reaction from him.

Rayd sinks his canine into his index finger, blood start dripping from his finger, he gentle place a drop of his blood at all the crystal at the center of each tulip circling the mirror, bright light illuminates the mirror, a face appears right after the light dim, the face laugh smugly giving Rayd an eerie feeling. The face was so white Rayd thought it was a vampire but he knows better, no one knows which creature it was, some thought he was a deity.

"Look what we have here, the prince of Paciras", the face said.

"I know you knew almost everything, I need to see my mom and the kingdom, what your deal",

"Rude as always to outsiders, just like Xypher",

" Your deal face", Rayd said eagerly,

"I want all your core", the face said "and am Imogen by the way".

"You can't do that, how am I suppose to live without my core", Rayd argues.

"You can kill Lyra to get an impressive core", added 

The girl standing by the side listening to them gasp, looking between Rayd and Imogen, worry evident on her face as she steps back a little, Rayd was oblivious to what was going on as all his attention was on 

"And whose that if I may ask", Rayd looks at the Imogen confused.

The girl starts shaking her head a little as she moves further away from the mirror, 

"Relax young wolf, it not my story to tell" Imogen said to the girl.

"I'll say this for free before our bargaining continue, cox you won't be getting out of here alive young lad, she's a wolf princess who might have inherit the moon goddess power and abilities", turning his attention to Rayd.

"And how is that related to me", Rayd ask again seeming lost.

Imogen laugh loudly which vibrat through the walls of the room 

"Prophecy Rayden, prophecy, and that'll be until we meet again, now where were we", 

"I can't give my core, it everything a mage could ever has, how am I suppose to live like an ordinary human, that like giving up my tales for this". Rayd protests

"Then give me your ancestral crest". Imogen said smugly

" Never", 

"The kingdom's scroll", 

"In yah dreams",

" the queen's crown", 

"Not happening"

"Then choose your deal boy, I don't have all day", Imogen said frustrated by the dumb prince.

"You can take my energy for as long as it takes to see all I want", Rayd said.

"Deal", Imogen ask smiling coyly 

"Deal", Rayd said.

A bolt of lightning immediately gush out of the mirror encircling Rayd wrist like a watch, the moment it made contact with his wrist, Rayd feels like his body has been petrify. He gasp in shock as the lighting pierce through his wrist till it get to his heart encircling it distrupting his mind and focus.

" So weak", Imogen mutter.

Rayd falls to the ground as the girl hurries to his side supporting him as he gets on his knees. At same moment the face disappears and lots of shouting were heard, Rayd looks at the mirror his eyes widening from the disaster his seeing, Paciras was in Chao's, so much blood, dead bodies decorating the floor and different types of sea creatures crawling the kingdom walls, half the city was destroyed, many creatures storming the throne room, several types of sea creatures are killing mercilessly as thou there were some killing machines.

Rayd felt fuzzy by looking at it, he was getting weaker, blood was dripping from his nose, he try to inhale using his mouth but the air seems to be short, 

"My....mum", he mutter in a wéak voice before falling unconsciously on her laps, she shakes him vigorously calling his name which falls on deaf ears, she avert her gaze form Rayd, she feels a fit of rage surging from her heart which makes her feels like a part of her was being ripped from within her heart. Tears roll down her cheeks, she calls him gently palming his face, her body shakes with intense rage.

"Rayd", she calls him multiple times tapping his face, but he still lay lifeless.

"Mate", she whispers lowly a deep growl escaping her lips,

Rayd lay lifeless as the bolt of lightning trail down to his wrist before gushing into the mirror. The girl follows it movement moving her gaze to the mirror as she froze seeing what was in the mirror.

"The Queen", she whispers blinking away tears, 

She was blinded by the fit of rage, Without much thought she pick the closest crystal which was at the center of those flowers and throw it to the mirror, the flowers wither as thou life was sucked out of them. The moment it collide with the mirror, sparks of lightning gush out of the mirror like an electric shook dispersing in every direction, the room shakes when it made contact with the walls and some part of the room starts collapsing, this startle Nora awake with how loud the lightning collide with the wall. She takes in the sight of the room trying to remember where she was, she moves swiftly seeing debris falling all over the place, she rush towards the girl where Rayd lay lifeless.

"What happen", Nora ask the girl which she knows it was her wolf through the mind control pull she feels.

"A long story master", she answers bowing her head a little,

"We need to get out of here, now", Nora said removing some of the crystal nearest to her, the walls keeps crumpling when it keeps getting hit by the lightning with force, the girl transform into her wolf form and kneel, Nora try putting Rayd on her back but was still wéak, she struggle before putting him on some of the debris hitting her, Nora climb as the girl run at an incredible speed avoiding the debris, to their suprise when they exit the room, it turn out all the mansion was collapsing.
