You finally called me father.

"Yo-han, it's done between us." She said and angrily swung the door open and marched away from his presence.

'Did he just say he gave up on the possibility that her father is really innocent?.' If Na-Gil who has no ties with her stood for her while he, the man she is in love with, was hell bent on ruining their relationship by harming her father based on an unproven statement of some stranger, then how can she trust him that she can rely on him in the future. It only explains how selfish he is, he only cares about himself and doesn't give a damn about others, not even her and he claims to love her. She began to doubt if he even understands what Love is.

He shouted after her and kicked the door open to chase after her but the seat belt confined him to the seat. He immediately unbuckled it and ran after her.

As he ran to catch up with her, he prayed in his heart that she understands him and at the same time, he rebuked himself for having such extremely low EQ. He should've known that those words were not something he should say at the moment.

He caught up to her and he tried to plead with her but to no avail.

"Yo-han don't pester me. I already told you what you should expect if you let me down, I will prove you wrong and leave and that's what I am doing. Just go. It's already clear that you are wrong, hence I am leaving. It's over... Moreover, it's forbidden for me to have any relationship with a Kim family clansman". She rejected him and entered into the living room where all of her family members sat, including her Nana.

"Mom, it's normal for couples to fight, they will get over the excitement soon." Choi Min-Ji commented and stifled her chuckle after receiving a glare from Madam Choi.

Yo-han did not care about her words at all, he was still healing from learning about his parentage, and here again, his woman just told him she'd quit, all happened in the span of seven hours. He couldn't bear to think about Min-Ji's words at all. He turned to Choi Mu-Young and bowed to the old man. For the first time, he spoke to Mu-Young with no feeling of hatred towards the man. If he is to blame anyone for his father's death, Choi Mu-Young is not one of them, he was totally implicated by the Kim family and Yo-han truly wanted to apologise for this.

"Father, I would like to see you in private." Yo-han said in a gentle manner. Hearing his own voice made him think that his cold and aloof self had long since died. Truthfully, he had not been especially aloof in a long time. Seems it's true that love and affection can really change someone. Moreover, his aloofness was an attitude he adopted after a long term grief of his father..., no, it's his uncle, either ways, it wasn't part of his true personality right from the start.

Choi Mu-Young's study is a typical elites workspace. His comfortable seat stands in front of a wall of books. A shelf filled with books stood as the wall and the other sides of the room had a very long brown curtain covering both walls. The curtains matched with the reddish brown color of the wide table that had two chairs in front of it. At a corner of the room was an average sized desk that seems to be Dae-Jung's and somewhere by the center was a coffee table and on it was a Go board that looks like it had just been played. Choi Mu-Young walked past the coffee table to a sofa that sat in the middle of the room and he gestured for Yo-han to take a seat at the sofa opposite him.

Yo-han took his seat and spent about fifteen minutes talking to Mu-Young, he explained how he and Dan-Bi fell out with one another five years ago and everything he discovered after she returned. He explained to Mu-Young the reason behind the ups and downs in their relationship and he didn't leave out the fact that he hated Choi Mu-Young. He explained everything to the old man whose expression only softened gradually instead of reacting like Dan-bi had.

After telling his tale, Choi Mu-Young's response dumbfounded him. "You finally called me father. That's great."

He was like, 'Did this man have no idea of all I had said earlier, he only caught up to the fact that I called him father.' Like nothing happened the old man's expression remained calm.

"After saying all this, I don't think you will let me call you that." He said and lowered his head, waiting for Choi Mu-Young's reply.

"Yes you are right, I can never give my daughter to you, also, the Kim family and mine are archenemies. You still have the guts to enter my house?Get out?" Choi Mu-Young suddenly lashed out at Yo-han which did not startled the youngster, he gently rose up and bowed before heading for the door.

Choi Mu-Young watched as Yo-han approached the exit and he could no longer stifle the laughter surging inside him. He erupted in laughter before he said. "Come back here son."

Yo-han turned to him in disbelief. He asked himself if Choi Mu-Young was bipolar because just now the man lashed out at him, and within two seconds the man already acknowledged him as his son-in-law. Or is this man joking around with a serious matter.

He slowly followed Choi Mu-Young's gestures and walked back to his previous seat and by then Choi Mu-Young had calmed his laughter. He clear his throat and said.

"Son, I am well aware of who you are, but I couldn't say because I knew you didn't know. It's very clear as day that you resemble Old Madam Kim, may her soul rest in peace. I knew your identity with just one glance. You must have had a though life outside the Kim family, and Dae-Jung seems to be luckier than you, at least he has me, but you had no one save you mother. Concerning Mit-Eum's death, I had always wanted to apologise since the day I saw you. It wasn't that I had no choice, but I choose to save my child from you granduncle Beom-Seok. I don't have anything against you and I have long since accepted you as my son in-law but it now rests in Dan-bi's hands. I will talk to her but you should also learn how to treat a lady. Don't be like Kim Hyun-Jun."

Yo-han nodded his head like an obedient child and let out a sigh of relief. At least his father in-law is very much forgiven. Only if he had Choi Mu-Young's heart, he would have spared both the Baek and Yoon families. He shook his heard and guilt entrapped him once more for he couldn't forgive but he was forgiven.

Choi Mu-Young didn't even sound like he had a grudge against the Kim family. Even when he mentioned the man named Beom-Seok, he didn't show any sign of hatred.

But who is that man called Beom-Seok?, He had never heard about the man from everything he realised today. It was only Mu-Young who mentioned the name. But Choi 'Mu-Young said he his my granduncle, then he must be Old Master Kim's brother.'
