"I finally found you!" Emilia exclaimed, making Subaru turn in her direction.

"Oh, Emili-....." Subaru didn't even finish saying her name as he looked at Al, and walked towards him and the half-elf girl.

"Wait, wait, wait! You can't just pick up Emilia-tan while I'm away!" Subaru said while glaring at the one-armed guy with a helmet.

"Looks like your buddy's got a screw loose, little lady. He's more worried about losing you to another man than happy to see you. A man's heart is so complex, it's a thrill to watch." Al spoke while looking at Subaru, though the small gap for his eyes in his helmet.

"You've got a pretty messed up fashion sense yourself!" Subaru said while glaring at the man, without any regard for anything. Kaji wondered if Subaru understood that he could easily die because he decided to pick a fight with someone far stronger than him. But well, maybe letting him die will fix him, he did improve that way in the novel if Kaji remembered correctly.

"Now, that's no way to talk to someone. I can overlook it since I'm a cool, good-natured man, but some might lop off your head for that." Al said while, leaning forward a bit.

But before anything more was spoken Emilia spoke up. "Relax, Subaru. His outfit surprised me too." Emili said while trying to calm down Subaru so he wouldn't cause too much trouble.

"Yeah, well….I was surprised too, when she asked me for help when I was searching for a lost child, too." Al said while looking at the two of them.

The three of them continued talking, While Kaji and Priscilla looked at them, and the Oni wondered whether they would notice them or not. But Priscilla was looking at Kaji with interest, after all, she was someone who was strong in her own rights. She did wield a sword of her own, she was confident that she could win any fight, but for some reason. She could tell that Kaji was different, it was as if he had something that she didn't, and this only made her want to have him under her, as she assumed with him around it wouldn't be as boring as it was normally.

Her biggest enemy is boredom, so the things she does are to avoid it. She repeatedly hits Al, or orders him to do something to entertain her. She is also able to position herself in situations unimaginable to any gentleman, such as leading a dangerous expedition simply because she is curious. And now her curiosity was directed towards Kaji, she just had a feeling that him being around her, would be far more entertaining than what she had experienced before.

Soon Al, Subaru, and Emilia stopped talking and finally noticed Kaji and Priscilla. And Al could see the glint in Priscilla's eyes, he knew that she seemed to have found something that interested her. But unlike Al Emilia hid behind Subaru while pulling her hood down, as to not be seen by Priscilla. And this time Subaru noticed it, before saying goodbye to everyone and leaving with Emilia.

"My, how attentive of you to wait where you knew I would be, I commend your dedication, Al." Priscilla spoke, seeing Al standing at the entrance to the alleyway.

Fortunately, Subaru and Emila just left so there were no staring contests, or anything of the sort happening.

"By the way, thanks for looking after her, and Can I ask for your name?" Al thanked Kaji while asking for his name.

"No problem, I'm Kaji, and what about you, you still didn't say your name." Kaji said, making Al realize his blunder, of not introducing himself.

"Oh sorry about that, my name is Aldebaran but you can call me al. I'm currently the knight of Priscilla Barielle, nice to meet you Kaji." Al introduced himself, before asking another question.

"I was wondering if you were the red-haired Oni who was said to be on par with Reinhard. You do seem to fit the description quite well, after all, you are the first Oni I have seen in a long time." Al asked while extending his hand to shake hands with Kaji.

Kaji grasped his hand and gave it a light squeeze. "Yes, I'm the one, after all, I believe that if you are strong enough you can do whatever you want. After all, who could actually do anything to you when you are the strongest being in the world? The answer is simple, there is always someone stronger than you, if you believe that and try to become stronger, you might not notice when you become the strongest."

"Sorry I started ranting out of nowhere." Kaji apologized for starting to just talk about being strong or the strongest, after all, he and Reinhard would discuss this numerous times, and they still did without reaching a proper conclusion on who was right.

"Oh, that's alright, but the sun seems to be setting soon, and I still have to bring my mistress back home, I hope we can talk later if we have the time." Al responded with a wave of his hand.

Soon Kaji, Al, and Priscilla left in their own direction, while Kaji just walked in the direction of where he was staying, Priscilla and Al walked in another direction towards a carriage.
