Twenty-Fourth Date: The Bloody Moon

It was about 10:00 PM when we got back to our house.

Leonard and I say our goodbyes and he heads home while I headed for the haunted forest for cultivation.

Since my cultivation increase, my speed has improve as well so I was able to reach the forst within 5 minutes.

Like usual I set up the barrier and sat down. I take out the stone, but it didn't seems anything different than one of those one you found in the fortune telling shops or souvenir store at the museum. I was confuse so I closed my eyes and reach Bai Hua.

"Bai Hua, how do you use this stone? It doesn't seems anything different than a normal stone.", I asked.

"That is because the stone hasn't acknowledge you as its owner yet. In able to activate the stone, you'll need to drop some of your blood on it and then the spirit in the stone will decide if you are worthy of using it or not.", She replied.

Wait what? I need to drop blood on it and see if it acknowledge me or not? I don't have to go through another test right? Whatever, these thing are normal in my life now so I might as well try my luck. *Bit thumb*

I drop 5 droplets of blood onto the stone and wait for it reaction.

At first all I see is a red light appearing inside the stone....*roar*....what the fuck! A dragon just came out of it and flew to the sky.

The dragon has blood-red scales and skins. It eyes were glowing red and its...oh my god..its coming this way. Oh no, its going to eat me alive!

*Fly into the body*

Did it just enter me? Hey, I don't feel anything at all.

"Give it a second.", Bai Hua smiled.

Sure. I don't feel anythi-. Aaah! Its that pain after I use Eclipse again. My heart felt like it being slashed by a thousands knives! *cough out blood*

"This is the spirit's test for you. If you can last 1 hour without collapsing or even die then it will acknowledge you as its owner.", Bai Hua said.

Meanwhile in Terry's soul

"So you're the vessel of my master for this life huh. You looked like an ordinary kid, I suggest you give up and go back to your normal life. If you still want to live that is.", A male dressed in ancient chinese clothes warned as he approached me.

I was on my knees and coughing out blood when he came. He look at me with pity eyes. I hate it when people give me that look. I'm not that weak! *Stand up*

"I need the power of this stone to save a certain person. I won't give up here, especially when I only have 20 minutes left until the test is over. There's no way I'm giving up!", I screamed.

"Hahaha, I like you kid. Very well, I shall increase the pain to see if your stubborness can last that long!", He laughed. *raise palm*

The pain is getting more fatal. I..I..can't...give..up! I must hold on! There's only 10 minutes left.

"Stubborn brat! Don't you value your life!?", He yelled.

"I can't give up now. I need...to..save..the old man. I need to beat....Dark Light. I need to marry Rebecca. I need to break my virginity!!!", I replied.

"Hmph...you really are tough for a 16 years old. Congratualation on passing my test, I never would have thought you would last till the end boy. I respected you to have such high goals to keep going. Especially the part where you want to break your virginity.", He smiled.

"My name is Xue Long, I'm the spirit of this stone. Be warned, if you overuse this item, you'll end up losing yourself to your inner demon and become a blood-thirsty monster. If that happened, me and Bai Hua will have to kill you.", Xue Long warned.

I opened my eyes and the pain was all gone, but there were blood beneath my legs and I felt exhausted. No, I can't collapse now. I need to raise my cultivation as high as possible since I only have 5 days before the full moon. *sat down*

Demon Lord Stage 1 reached *Coughing blood*. *Fainted* into Xue long's arm.

"So he broke through 24 layers that fast huh. You got some talent kid, no wonder master chose you as his vessel. Now let me repair all the blood vessels that you destroyed during the process. ", He smiled.

Placing his hand on my forehead, Xue Long emitts a blood red light into my body.

"When you wake up, you shall be the strongest person on this planet and no one can rival your powers unless that traitor or one of his 7 king generals shows up.", Xue Long said.

The next morning.....

I opened my eyes and saw that I was still in the forest. I immediately get up and my body felt great. Its like the recoil damages I've received have been all healed in one night. No its not just that, I've felt 4x stronger than before. I open my palm and concentrate my Qi into my arms and a blood red flame appears and magic circles were printed on my arms and chests. I've broken through the Demon Lord Stage! Now I could take on the cult without worrying that I'll die!
