Don't be hasty
Nathan pondered on it for quite some time.
Who exactly created the alliance?... Why did he create the alliance?... What did he use to entice so many people to join him?... And why were they willing to join his ragtag group?
The first question was a blank, the second was obvious to answer but the third and fourth… it was even more confusing than the first question.
It made no sense in the first place.
These guys in all honesty were basically handing over their sovereignty to some guy and then following his orders like some slaves that didn't have freewill.
Yet they did, they had their freewill and still followed him.
That was enough to let Nathan know that whomever was the leader of th alliance must have means. Means that allowed him to manipulate so many people without getting even a hint of complaint.
